Can you use a "*" wild card when manually adding an email address to the Spam Controls sender filter? That would be a big help.
The use of wild cards is no longer supported. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I've been an AOL client for over 20 years. I expect better treatment.

Stop screwing around! You once had the ability to use wild cards to block similar spam addresses. Either bring the wild card back, provide an explanation why it can't be done, or everyone PO'd by AOL's foot dragging should go to another ISP!

PLEASE PERMIT WILD CARD IN SPAM FILTER. I'M GETTING LOTS EVERY DAY FROM NEWS@DOMAI.... + unique characters. They are recognized as spam but then when I inspect spam to be sure no legit urls are in there I have to wade thru these. WILD CARDS ARE A SIMPLE TRIED AND TRUE APPROACH. DO IT!

It would be really helpful if we had the option to use wildcards to block spam.
Almost all my spam is coming from two sources -- onmicrosoft.com and, more recently, kokokolona.monster. Both could be blocked if I could use a wildcard in my spam-control settings.
The inability to use wildcards is a major reason I don't recommend AOL to anyone.

Please, please, please restore the option to use wildcards to block spam.

So many people are asking for this. Everyone would benefit.

Allow blocking spam with the use of wild cards. I just had 40 spam emails. 36 could have been blocked if I could block with a wild card. For example, I receive hundreds of emails from a prefix "**". These would all be eliminated if I could block **@*.*

I get dozens of spams with similar addresses like 6zjk-x2FOD-T3l0pW-jamhen2-jYKxFAm@vWCZpdyI.de and xEPN-CKV5Q-7r6Fhj-jamhen2-PO6plFn@1vKJLj4F.de. jamhen2 and .de are common elements I could use with a wildcard option to block these and similar addresses. I'd like the wildcard capability returned so that I can block addresses without the impossible task of inputting complete addresses. This is not a new idea, but one that is badly needed.

Still waiting for the wildcards to be placed back into spam control so I don't have to type single addresses into the spam control list. Please help out your customers. Responsibility of a great company that produces a browser is to help out end users. When can your user base expect a way to do this AGAIN?

C'mon AOL give us a break. This outfit is spinning out new spam every day using different @whatevers and we can't block them. Give us the wildcard....PLEASE! -

when blocking email I would like to be able to use the wildcard *.* after the @ sign of email addresses to block. eg. UJSKIF25FR@battle.mindblowingdeals.email and UJSKIF25FR@musk.takendeals.biz would be blocked by using UJSKIF25FR@*.* This would block a multitude of iterations that the spammers generate
