allow spelling changes within spell check.
after generating an email, one uses aol spell check and comes across a misspelled word-
if the correct word is not in the suggested list, one must close spell check and manually correct the spelling in the email.
spell check should allow for changes to be made dynamically in the box where the misspelled word shows up.

In AOL Desktop Gold, Spell Check checks the body of a new e-mail. Please include the Subject Line as well. This could save us some embarrassment!
Thanks.

I have reported this issue to Report A Bug three times and it still forces the person typing to put the cursor over the misspelled word and instead of allow the ability to just select the correct spelling and have it fixed automatically the end-user has to write down the correct spelling and go out of spell check and correct it in the email body. Why change something that worked so nicely for AOL customers and make them frustrated. Then when reported say that AOL is looking into it. It was apparently reported in November of last year. If the developers or website workers cannot fix it, fire them and hire someone that could change it back to the way it was when it worked.

I myself don't see where this would make a huge difference , and I guess I don't quite understand your reasoning behind the suggestion. How hard is it to go to the email and correctly spell a word ?
