I don't like AOL Gold making my hard drive run 100% of the time I'm using AOL. Please stop that!
I have 3 different computers, and on all of them whenever I'm using AOL Gold my hard drive runs 100% of the time. The hard drives running 100% of the time when using AOL Gold needs to stop!!!

It's killing me causing me to have to shut down and restart which wastes a lot of my most valuable time. It darn near freezes my computer and I surely do not know how to clean out the junk like I used to. It used to be easy but since the major changes I have not been able to figure out how to do it without just shutting down. Couple that with the act that my computer is now so slow anyway and it takes me forever. UGH !!

I have noticed that with the latest version of aol desktop gold, the software is using up a lot of cpu. Task manager reports an average of 70 to 100% cpu. Is that normal?

Over the past year or so my computer has been locking up. I started monitoring by break down of my CPU. When my AOL is on it is usning 15-20% of my CPU. That seems high but understandable. My question is why is it still running at 15-20% of my CPU when I don't even have AOL open.
