Screen going black
SCREENS CHANGING SIZE AND TURNING BLACK:
I use Desktop Gold as my primary browser. I log onto Gold with the main AOL Gold strip at the top, and the Welcome screen to my left and then also My Favorites screen on my right. Everything seem OK as long as I continue doing something on the desktop or internet, but as soon as I let it go idle for 10-15 minutes or so, my screen goes to sleep(as I do have it set for that feature) but also I start hearing"bubble" type notification sounds in the background. If and when I go to wake my screen a few minutes later the "welcome screen" and the "favorites screen" have decreased in size and moved to the left; and part of the screen, on the right and top has gone black. I might hear another "bubble" type sound and the screens seem to decrease again. The only way I can get back to see the whole screen again is to log out of AOL Gold and log back in again. Then again the screens will again start decreasing and turning black after 10-15 minutes of idle.
IT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE MY COMPUTER. I HAVE A DELL I HAVE TRIED TO USE OTHER BROWSERS LIKE: FIREFOX, CHROME, MICROSOFT EDGE, INTERNET EXPLORER 11, ETC.
None of those screens move or turn black after being idle like happens when using AOL Desktop Gold. I have tried to reload the AOL Desktop Gold download, but still have the same problem.
What can I do?

Since I got a new computer yesterday and spent all night transferring my data and programs from my old to my new computer, guess which is the only program not working properly - AOL Desktop Gold - or should I say Old? It won't save my username and password, and when I click Settings, Mail Settings or various AOL popups, I get a black screen. So if anyone else has this problem on a PC using Windows 11 (same as my old computer, I just had to get a new one because it didn't have enough disk space anymore), please put pressure on AOL to fix this problem. I can't transfer my data from old to new computer because when I open Settings on AOL Desktop Gold, I get a black screen.
