FIX THE BUGS WHEN REPORTED
Ever since the Windows 10 update a few days ago, when I click on WRITE to write a email or at times click on my MAILBOX, my AOL Desktop flashes off and needs to be reloaded. This "bug" ONLY occurs on AOL Desktop, not when using any other browser so I assume the "bug" lies with the AOL Desktop program. I've reported The Bug for days now and still the problem hasn't been solved. Anyone else experiencing the same problem??? AOL, HOW ABOUT FIXING THE PROBLEM!!!
Our engineers are investigating this issue as we speak. You can download the software installer again: http://updates.desktop.aol.com/updates/gm/Install_AOL_Desktop.exe. This should fix the bug. If you need help with this, we can have a technician guide you through: 1-888-365-3733. If the issue continues, please send us a crash report. To do that, please follow these steps:
1. Open AOL Desktop Gold.
2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.
3. Type a short description of the problem, and click Send.

I agree with the question about the need to sign in to post a comment. When prompted to sign in, I click on an icon and I am logged in automatically because of stored userid and password, Why can't they be passed along when I enter the feedback forum?

WHY THE ABSOLUTE **** DO YOU NEED TO SIGN IN TO POST A COMMENT WHEN YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY ALREADY SIGNED IN TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE HELP ICON. AOL COULDN'T FIND ITS *** WIHT BOTH HANDS.

GO AHEAD AND REPORT A BUG, IT DOES NO GOOD. ANY SURPRISE? NO, NOTHING GETS FIXED, NOTHING WORKS RIGHT, EMAILS WON'T OPEN AND WHEN THEY DO THEY'RE BLANK. THOSE BUGS HAVE BEEN REPORTED REPEATEDLY. ALONG WITH THE ERROR CODES THAT COME WITH EVERY SINGLE MAIL ATTEMPTED TO BE SEND.

When I click "Settings", I get a black screen. I have reported this "bug" 3 times and no response. 2 reps have taken control of my computer and have not been able to fix it. Help!

I have the same problem suddenly with Sent and Old mail taking forever to open. Meanwhile AOL NOT RESPONDING keeps blinking on and off. If I click on one too many times the whole thing locks up and has to be restarted. No problems with any other applications.

I have sent repeated bug reports and still have no resolution. I have contacted chat/phone support and they keep advising to send a bug report after repeatedly telling me to reinstall the aol gold desktop software which doesn't fix the issue. Why isn't support helping their aol PAYING customers??? I have been a paying customer for over 25 years!
I can't switch between new, old and sent mail tabs in aol gold desktop software without very long delays. Most of the time it just freezes. Secondly, all of my sent mail shows TO: before the email address and therefore I can't sort my mail. When is AOL going to respond and fix my issues.
In addition, using the Bug link does not tell me if my issue has even addressed. My guess since I still have the issues is NO.
Being a paying customer for over 25 years, in the past these types of issues were escalated and I would receive a solution within 24 hours. So what happened to that customer service? Now we are stranded as PAYING customers.
When is AOL going to respond to “Bug” reports in a timely manner and provide an email link or some contact for follow-up and resolution. I have recently submitted over 2 dozen bug reports and have no idea if they were read or any action will be taken.
Please respond to my “Bug” submissions via email or fix the issues!
