AOL gold freezes every day
Everyday AOL GOLD freezes up and I have to use Google. Why am I paying you to use your desktop if it does not work!! YOU SHOULD BE PAYING ME TO USE AOL GOLD!!! Don't force people to use this ****! FIX IT ALREADY!! I AM PAYING YOU 3.99 a MONTH SO IS EVERYONE ELSE!!!

My idea is for you to fix the email. The old and sent boxes and loading very slow. It seems a few months ago all my emails from 2011 got loaded back into those boxes and was told that was what was slowing it down. I am paying you and have spent hours of my time deleting emails. I have deleted a lot and it is still doing the same thing. If I can get into those boxes I can't search for old emails or people's email addresses because they won't pull up. And I was able to start an email and just put in a couple letters of the email address and it would populate and that isn't working anymore. That It seems you have lowered your bandwith or something. Whatever you have done you need to stop charging and fix the problem or you will be loosing a lot of long time customers!

I have the same issues as all the rest. I have been with AOL for 25 years and it has never run so bad. Also started about 3 months ago. I wasn't able to toggle between mailboxes and came to found out that somehow every email I had ever written or sent from 2011 popped back into my old and sent mail boxes.I was told that is why it was running slow. I spent hours trying to delete 9 years of emails. It is almost impossible. They put me on this beta platform and it's not much better. I have moved out lots of emails and it still is slow and won't load. Alot of the email features I like. like auto loading people's emails isn't working. Searching for old emails isn't working! Nothing is working right. And as everyone said you are charging US for this. What a shame. I run a business and so many customers from 25 years have this email address and I like the features for my work but if it isn't working right and I get frustrated I will have to move on and redo everything on a new platform. Maybe you need to see what went wrong a few months ago and put it back to the way it was. Are you trying to save money on bandwith? Is that the issue? Again we are paying you! I am giving it another couple months and it isn't fixed you will be loosing another long time customer!

I have done everything recommended many times over. I have even had aol tech support uninstall and reinstall, still no better at all. Reviewing the news and checking email takes forever due to extended time to execute clicks, complete software freezes, etc, etc.
AOL - what the heck is going on??

Describe my idea? How about making the desktop gold that I pay for usable? Mail doesnt come up half the time. The articles that you want everyone to read and comment on are almost useless since half of the articles dont even come up when clicked on, and trying to make a comment is so frustrating because aol moves so slow. Ive used aol for over twenty years now because Ive always liked how aol is set up for my mail, and its just very easy to use in general. Ive recommended it to so many others and installed it for others to help them out, but something has to change, and soon! Im seriously thinking of switching over to another platform thats free and works great.

Im right there with you! About three or 4 months ago, my AOL started to run veeeeerrrrrryyyyy slow, and I would have to restart it over and over just to get my mail to come up. Everything about aol is slow right now, or even freezes up. Youre right? We pay for this too. The days are long gone I guess where you could trust aol to be a smooth and easy program to use. It worked better when it was free.

Mail won't open or preview photos. Slow going in general and AOL Gold crashes, or just won't function. AOL already knows about all this, but yet, does nothing. Oh, but, they take your money OK. That part works just fine. Can you say Class-Action? AOL should be paying me.

One helpful thing I discovered is that when AOL Mail loads and there are no emails in the empty mail box, if I go up to the READ icon (picture of a mailbox) at the top, left side) and click on it, a lot of times my mail will appear! I'm grateful for this! I've gone days without being able to see/receive a single email!

Com'on man: having to wait 6 minuted for a saved mail to open is finally more than I can take. Something has to be done now, not next week and not next year. AOL is about to start losing customers en masse if AOL doesn't finally get their heads out of the sand and correct this system wide problem!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know what "operating properly" means and have bneen an aol user since AOL was first invested in the 1970's. Get this solved ASAP.

Very disappointed in how AOL Gold performs. Constantly freezing, can not log on, mail does not pull up where you can read anything and not to mention when you try to search for anything it shows ERROR.
Have had AOL for many years but it is getting to the point where I may end up canceling my subscription. Should not have to pay for a service that does not work.
I can not help but notice all the other users that are having same problems so when is AOL going to FIX issues!

I have been an AOL user since it was first on the market like in the 70's. Desktop[ Gold constantly freezes, cannot access saved mail folders and generally has become almost not usable any more. SEVERE PROBLEMS with the Desktop Gold software and all AOL can offer is some complex instructions to try and fix on our own?
I can instantly access mail using AOL app on my Android phone and on mail.aol. Clearly the Desktop Gold software is FAILING MISERABLY. Itas is well beyond time that AOL cleans up its software, hires new programmers, and starts to rebate aol fees for drastically unacceptable performance.
Even worse, I have complained several times previously and NOTHING IS BEING DONE and no one from aol responds to me directly. Clearly a verifiable sign that things are really off the rails at aol!!

How are you paying AOL only 3.99 a month while I'm paying them almost 30.00 a month? And people keep saying AOL is supposed to be free. Since the meld with Yahoo my service, especially my email has been all screwed up. They got rid of their best feature when they scrapped AIM. Whenever you unsubscribe to something your SPAM FOLDER begins to take on BOUNCE and UNKNOWN and other spammy emails. I must remove 40 emails from bounce daily. PUT IN A BLOCK BUTTON for the SPAM FOLDER,. Btw, the THIS IS SPAM (by right clicking the email)doesn't seem to work. BLOCK BUTTON.You're meld with Yahoo may be good for you but it's wreaking havoc on use customers. FIX THE ISSUES or stop charging us. And they have the nerve to want us to pay for the people they hire to help us figure out their mistakes. Egregious. You should be paying us every time we have to use a tech. So frustrated. Wait and wait for the unfreezing that lasts many minutes! Very slow to boot. There is nothing to export and should not be my issue! This is AOL's issue. Please fix it. What is the hold up? This is so unacceptable. Never had an issue when aol was free. NEEDS TO BE FIXED OR WILL BE MOVING ON AFTER 25 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
