Quick Find - Select All- Delete
Hello, I have the most difficult time cleaning out my mail box. PLEASE YOU COULD HELP IN THIS WAY:
Quick Find:
Then IF you would ADD these options:
SELECT ALL:
DELETE:
I have to scroll to delete one email at a time..that takes hours that is why I don't do it. I have so many emails that I try to get people to send me messages in other ways. However I could quickly get ahold and manage my mail so much easier if for example:
QUICK FIND: gnc
then all my emails that say GNC would come up
then
SELECT ALL:
then all those emails would be selected
then
DELETE or SAVE or and other options
Then with one click I could delete 100's of emails
PLEASE HELP US WHO HAVE BEEN TRUE TO AOL FOR MANY YEARS. Years ago these options were available however now they aren't so I am not able to manage my mail well thanks so much for considering these suggestions

Am I being punished because I stopped paying fees for decades? Since 1993. Is it something new that one is shouldered with every mail coming in, going out, or being spam? Most I can delete at one time are 19 by highlighting that group and holding down shift and then delete. With over 4 thousand incoming alone - and over 11 thousand sent I believe AOL is wanting to get rid of me. All the ads that have been added do not make it a pleasure anymore either. I know - been there, done that - like I said 1993. Thanks for the memories AOL - you are causing it! Looks like I did a a repeat. Anyone out there that has a solution?

I found out that if I set up a whole sheet of entries - highlight either the first or last entry, THEN hold down the SHIFT button and click 'delete' I can clear at last 17 - to 19 (if I am lucky at a time). If someone already mentioned it, forgive me - I don't want to waste my time - AOL is really turning on all of us. Been with them since 1993 But not much longer - at this rate.

Perhaps the reason AOL won't allow changes is because, if they do, they will lose all of their old members.

I have been an AOL member since it first started and its sad that AOL does not care for its members any more. I'm too **** old to start up something new because of all my friends, saved favorites etc. But I am investigating other options.

Regarding all the email. If you click on "From", AOL will alphabetize all your email so you can find your friends quickly as well as have all the SPAM by one company bunched together so you can get rid of them by highlighting and deleting at once. I do that all the time. Then just click on Date to put it back in chronological order.
