Please get rid of the OLD in MAIL...I recently lost a very important contact because the email dropped into the OLD and I had it cut off! PLEASE do away with the OLD MAIL folder!!!

    Desktop Gold Mail uses a "new/old" system for sorting mail. It's not like the message is lost, it's just that you're looking in the wrong folder.
