Unfortunately we have found that this feature, while powerful and useful, was often misunderstood or toggled on and off so frequently and quickly that it would get out of sync and be impossible to disable. So many times it would cause users to not be able to get Email for extended periods of time.
And believe me it works!!
We now only show it if it is enabled, to allow it to be disabled.Since it a function that works before the mail gets to a client, it is all mail access that it affects.
It is still possible to turn on this preference in the AOL Mail on the Web product (https://mail.aol.com )>Settings (Gear icon)>More Settings>Security and Privacy, Block all senders except contacts slider.
