About your no longer leaving a previously read item unbolded. I see where other users complained about this. You chose to say that 'feature' is no longer available. I have found by not using your icon on the screen and logging on to WWW.AOL.COM, my messages there are still in the preferred method with previously messages unbolded.

I was told over a year ago by your Techs, the mouse forward/backward button issues would for sure be fixed by Dec 2017 and it still has not been fixed and here we are now in mid July 2018. When will the forward/backward mouse buttons finally be working like it used to in 9.7? What is the problem? Mouse buttons work in every browser except AOL Gold. Why has this and everything else that people have complained about for over a year not been fixed yet? Can't the money we pay for monthly fees, pay for some knowledgeable Techs to…

On the AOL APP for Android phones, there is ability to select: ALL, Read, UNRead, etc..
when I go to ANY email folder on the phone APP, I can choose 'view UNREAD' or others
This would be a VERY NICE enhancement for the Desktop.

Feedback re: Gold "look"
Change the "look" from childish and whimsical to neat and professional. The former style met my expectations, The "Gold" version is not eye-friendly at all.

Picture captions
I don't know who the idiot was that decided to make picture captions a clickable item that gets pasted across the picture so another damnable ad can be pasted along the side where the caption used to be, but it stinks. Every one of these changes makes AOL crappier and less user friendly. I predict that if you keep this idiocy up, your users will start heading for the hills, and I'll probably be leading the pack.
