Mailboxes not working for a long time
Clicking in "NEXT" to see the next email does nothing.
Clicking on DELETE and email while it is open does nothing. You have to close each email to delete it... and then open and close each mail to delete that mail.Do not tell me to call a tech. My neighbor has the same issue. And I already clear my browser many times a day.FIX THIS AND EVERYTHING ELSE ALREADY!

I changed my email name to a nickname for commenting on the news, but.....
My email name is still coming up when I add a comment. I will not comment on anything until this is fixed. I don't want the world to see my email name. This is dangerous and it is an invasion of privacy. AOL Gold advertised the program to be more secure...IT IS NOT MORE SECURE because of this and other reasons. With all that is wrong and missing AOL is no longer fun and is a total waste of money.

AOL should give users the option to star, highlight or bookmark emails received and read so they can be easily found and re-read. Gmail and Outlook both have this feature!

opening web site
In AOL 9.8, there was an icon in the tab which would rotate while the web site loaded, then become an icon when the page was loaded.
In AOL Gold, when the page appears blank, there's no way to know if information is coming or the page is really blank. -

AOL needs to hire competent engineers to fix GOLD. Its a mess in many respect.Or go out of business

Stop charging for membership until your desktop and any services you claim to provide.
You are not addressing (with any substance) any feedback, complaints or issues that are addressed in this part of the AOL DESKTOP gold. I have contacted your representatives who have remote logged on and I have expressed the issues that I have. One of the representatives also went to the feedback section and entered the issues that she obviously could not fix. Since you have changed to your New and Improved AOL Desktop Gold, you have had us reload it, update it and then reload it again. Through all of this, the Desktop continues to show a blank page for…

Fix the search e-mail menu to a permanent setting.
Until recently I never had to choose "e-mail address only" in the search e-mail menu. I don't5 want to have to reset that choice every time I search e-mails. I use the search e-mail system daily...I don't know why this is happening all the time now. Please let me know how I can fix that so I don't have to constantly take that extra step all the time. I've been with AOL for over 20 years and this inconvenience is creating a problem for me.

DO NOT MERGE: Dragging a "heart" from an ad into an email results in extra work in new desktop,
In old desktop, if you dragged a "heart' into your email, the hyperlink appeared where you wanted it. Now the entire email is consumed by that opened heart's site, and you have to close it to get back to your email. WE ALREADY KNOW WHAT THE HEART IS ABOUT!! WE DO NOT NEED TO SEE IT!! JUST PUT THE HYPERLINK IN THAT SPOT AND LET US GET ON WITH OUR EMAIL WITHOUT WASTING OUR TIME TO HAVE TO CLOSE THE OPEN LINK!!

email from AOL used to show blue in email box now its brown with attachments from comms.aol.net i don't open because not sure from aol so i might be missing important information. The old way of showing official email should be adopted again

sign on problem listed as being fixed in June update is NOT FIXED AS STATED - actually performing worse now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - wake up AOL - just because you repeatedly state that you have fixed problems DOES NOT make it so - now you can merge or close comments on this topic like you normally do - refusing to acknowledge you NUMEROUS problems do not make them go away !!! - this forum has produced only lip service + NO real actions at ALL !!!
