Please Bring Back Ad-Free Paid Option for Desktop Gold
Back when AOL still offered Advantage Plans, there was a little-known bolt-on called "Ad-Free Desktop Gold". It was unrelated to the Ad-Free Mail that works to remove ads from webmail. Since the new plans rolled out, there is no way for a Desktop Gold member to pay for having no ads in their Desktop Gold client. I've tried each Premium plan to test this, and I've spoken with Support - they have confirmed what I'm saying is true. If AOL could please bring back the Ad-Free option for Desktop Gold, I'd buy it tomorrow! Thanks :)

Desktop Gold Mail
Why do you have to keep fixing things that aren't broke. Can no longer use previous or next when reading mail. Have to close out the individual mail and then click on the next one. When you close an individual mail it goes automatically into old mail. Please fix this problem.

When expanding a folder, the pfc goes to the top.
In previous versions of AOL Desktop and AOL GOLD, when expanding a folder that has a sub-folder, it would stay at that location. Now it goes to the top and one has to scroll back down to select the sub-folder. This needs to change

AOL Desktop Gold is a mess. It has been years and almost nothing has been done to fix their problems. It is hard to believe that something that was so good for so long is now a disaster.

Select your news stories with their general importance in mind. Who cares about a single obstetrical accident?

Forwarding emails to yourself Strips Link Functionality:
Don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but when forwarding a "your item has been shipped" email from Amazon, AOL strips the link functionality from the orange "Track Package" button in the body of the email. Very annoying, can this be fixed please?

AOL gold sends email box , brower box and other boxed when I am on other sites and typing
sick and tired of aol mail box popping up and covering my screen and preventing me from typing when I am on other sites..Have installed aol gold 3 times and no fix. Aol agents don't have a clue either and I am to the point of leaving aol after 26 years. fix this bug I can't be the ONLY one suffering!

Quit playing with the news screen.
Changing the format from article to article makes it difficult to quickly sort through the different news topics. Of course that is what AOL wants as it causes clicking where the previous article was to get something of no interest.

This new [Unsubscribe] next to the From line of the email - why is it there?
It isn't on every email I receive. Some members of many groups I belong to have it in their emails to me and others don't. Why would I unsubscribe from a private person's email? If this is AOL's way of trying to do the "Do Not Call" list for spammers, isn't it just telling them our email addresses really exist. I learned years ago to NEVER reply to a spam message - isn't that what the unsubscribe would do if a spam message was in with our regular messages?

I have been a subscriber to your service and for the past several years even paying for the service. I don't wish to go through the hassle of moving however I am now considering doing so. Why, because every time I sign on, I have to discard one or more "additional" services you want to offer me. You need to provide an "opt out" button for those who pay for your service, otherwise I have to consider going with one of the more popular "free" services. Thank you..

Move the recently deleted button away from the present delete button in the E-mail box to insure which items you are deleteing, either current or already deleted items

Screens are all screwed up
You have screwed up all my screens as you now have enlarged my pictures on start up and and my address book and favorite boxes are shrunk and my game pics are shrunk, very annoying when you play with your tools and ***** up ours, please put my screens back and leave them alone, Thank You
