The auto suggestion on the address bar sucks.
Leave it as it was--don't want it showing names, topics, etc, that I never searched or care about in my browser!!! Use & PAY for AOL Desktop Gold--!! Don't need to pay for aggravation or for my computer to show places I've never searched!!

Put auto-fill for URLs the way it was before
Formerly if you just typed the first letter in the URL field the last used would fill in....that was convenient....no more!

favorites
Making the Favorites drop down box a part of the existing tab was a huge mistake. Now when I have a tab open, and then want to look at a Favorite it cuts down the size of the original tab. The Favorite tab grabs 1/3 of my screen and I cannot close it without closing the original tab too. Who comes up with these changes that make things worse????

Mail problems and This Feedback method and total lack of easy support SUCKS!!!!
Since downloading AOL Gold when I had to reset my computer, it does't work right. Sometimes Sent or New mail doesn't show for hours!! Very frustrated!!! And now I have to sign in when I'm already signed in??? Really?!!! And forcing me to sign in on a Voice thingy sucks too. I've been with you since the 80's and am about to stop... what happened to "service"????

Add "To" Address to Address Book Automatically
Please restore the feature that added the "To" address to the Address Book automatically when sending an e-mail. This used to be an optional setting, but that option is no longer there.

Why isn't the post on the right side that friends are on and you can chat?
I would like the box on the right side to tell me when friends are on.

can you please give us an option to have the light blue bar scroll tab when looking at your mails, it's irritating.
Please take out the option for this light blue bar with the trash can picture, save picture, etc to the right of this light blue bar, Its irritating when cursor is moving up or down

search history
Suppose you had one or more window tabs open on the aol desktop. It used to be that when you would click the "welcome" tab, the space in which to type a new URL was blank. This is no longer the case. The AOL software would only try to "guess" previously used URLs when I started typing in the URL space. It would really be nice to have the software work this way again, because the software currently automatically puts an already used URL in the URL space, which can be very distracting. Email groups missing
I just spent about 90 minutes with AOL tech support to try and fix why all of my email address groups disappeared. I tried to add a new group and AOL had a glitch and logged out. When I logged back in all of my email address groups were missing. I was told by tech support that they could not back up my address groups. I have maybe 60 different groups so I told them I was not a happy camper. Has anyone else had this issue? The tech support guy even installed a newer version of AOL Desktop Gold…

Displaying Multiple Pictures Taken Away :(
I want to know WHY displaying multiple pictures on the screen at one time has been taken away? Why is AOL trying SO HARD to push away their subscribers? Who is making these dumb decisions?

Allow customers to have the option of the "New and Improved"
I could deal with even Gold but the "New and Improved" version is horrendous! My mobile app no longer holds my contacts. The list is endless. PLEASE offer your customers the option to use the "new and improved" version! First time in all of these years I regret using AOL. Today, my desktop version went back to 2021 with New emails. Had to go to phone to get new emails.

Please bring back AOL Desktop on macOS
While I enjoy AOL Desktop on Windows, and also use the mobile app, it would be fantastic if AOL were to bring back the Desktop application on macOS. For decades, AOL provided premium services for Mac users and that seems to have gone away. Now, with the internal rendering engine of ADG being based on Chromium, it wouldn't be terribly difficult to backport ADG to a macOS application. I would literally buy cake, coffee, etc to say thank you to the AOL dev teams if you could make this happen :)

User defined and stored email history
Make a way to Save any number of past emails in large blocks (user selectable) anywhere from a single day or up to a year or more into a single file that contains categories of (sender) (recipients) (copies to) (blind copies to) (timestamp) (sent or received) (attachments) and (text body within the email), that can be stored on the users hard drive and searched WITHOUT having to go online. Should be able to specify to what category the search applies. For example, the user might want to search for all emails that came from a certain email address, or were…

AOL GOLD REQUIRES TOO MANY WORKAROUNDS. BAD NEWS!
BETWEEN THINGS LIKE REMOVING THE EMAIL PHOTO "PREVIEW" FUNCTION IN RECEIVED, OLD AND SENT EMAIL, THIS REMOVAL ACCOMPLISHES NOTHING OTHER THAN MORE WORK FOR CUSTOMERS. THE BOOKMARK LIST IS ALSO OVERSTUFFED WITH USELESS AND SELF-SERVING AOL GOLD COMMERCIAL BOOKMARKS AND HAS LOST ITS FLUID FLEXIBILITIES SUCH AS MOVING BOOKMARKS TO THE POSITION ON THE LIST DESIRED BY THE CUSTOMER. I JUST WONDER HOW MANY CLASS-ACTION LAWSUITS ARE NECESSARY FOR AOL AND VERIZON TO COME TO THEIR SENSES???
