  1. Spam that doesn't appear on my screen so that I can delete it!

    My screen tells me that I have 1 email in my Spam folder. When I go to the Spam folder, nothing is there. If I press "delete", the folder is not cleared out; if I have a 2nd piece of Spam, I press "delete all" but the phantom Spam message does not go away. The old AOL software was good; why did we have to change to something that is not configured as well as what we had? I've never had this problem before...and I want it to go away!

  3. Aol Gold diapered on all of our computers

    We have AOL gold or should I say we had AOL gold it is no longer on our computers 4 of them. AOL has no trouble with taking out my payment for something I have to go onto Google just to get into my account and I can not get in to cancel my account. If I am going to have to use Google to check my mail I may as well have a free account.

    this sequence does not work:
    Use the Browser Password Manager as a secure and easy way to manage your online passwords and credentials.

    Enable or disable the Password Manager
    1. Log in to AOL Desktop Gold.
    2. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. .
    3. Click the Browser option on the left-side of the window.
    4. Click the Passwords tab.
    5. Select 'Offer to save passwords I enter on the web'.
    6. Exit out of the Settings window.
    Tip icon.To disable the Password Manager, follow the same steps as above but de-select the box next to 'Offer…

  6. in-bedded programs in GOLD

    The USPS will send you an email of mail you are to receive that day if you sign up for that service. In the email is scanned pictures of each letter. Those scanned pictured are not displayed when using AOL Gold. They are displayed in Chrome etc. Can this be fixed???

    All of my Yahoo portfolios are down.
    Never once did I see AOL advertise the fact that it had the best portfolio layout and features when Siffig ran the portfolios. I guess management is not very capable of organizing AOL into a needy service (ie one people pay money for). Popular photography magazine did the same and now it is defunct.

  11. Email Font

    I posted that my selected font, size and color will not save. I received a reply stating that my issue had been merged with another and included were the instructions for setting the font. I have followed those exact steps no less than half a dozen times and my font is still not set to what I chose. So obviously something needs to be done. This version of AOL stinks!

  16. AOL Gold is a routine disaster, cannot Fwd emails many days, Address book shows triple for each group.

    AOL Gold is a routing disaster for my wife and me. Many days, it will not Fwd any emails, right now my address book shows triple for the various groups, 2 of the 3 are blank!
    I have been an AOL used since was back in the 1990's. I do not want to change to another server, but about read to. Now we are paying over $5 per month and getting continual frustration what, if anything is being done to make things work right like they used to, when it was a free service?

  18. Need AOL V9.8.2 for dial-up.

    I have an old functioning desktop computer with dial-up capability. I would like AOL to send me CD with the AOL V9.8.2 to install on this old computer. I also need CDs to install the AOL component software for AOL Dialer and AOL Shield as I am unable to download anything from the Internet because current browsers are not supported with this old computer. What is the AOL phone number to call to obtain these CDs? Thank you.

    Whenever I open email it does NOT fill the window so I have to keep scrolling over to the right to read each line then back to left again for next line. EXTREMELY annoying and time consuming!!! Never happened in 9.7. When I download an attachement, if I go back to same email to read attachment again, in 9.7 box came up saying "already downloaded" with options to "open file", "find file" at top. Now it downloads the attachment a second time!!! There is no way to reopen the already downloaded file. PLEASE FIX!!! This has been going on for…
