Green print
In the Brain Charm piece about building a wall, there are parts printed in green. I don't know about anyone else, but the green print is damned hard to read.I don't know what some people are thinking. I couldn't read the material, so I quit reading.

AOL Gold does not allow me to save emails on my C drive in sub-directories for efficient organization - my AOL 9.8 allowed me to do this.
Talking to 3 AOL representatives, I was told this function is not available in AOL Gold. I respectfully request that this previous function to drag emails to subdirectories on the C drive be installed in AOL Gold.
The work around entails coping each email (a two step process) to a text file, and then copying that text file to the C drive subdirectory that would also then have to write a heading for the text file with date and sender name. That is not efficient nor acceptable.
The AOL saved on my PC is encripted and can only be opened… -
Among all the STUPID features of AOL GOLD not being able to add screen names is the most "STUPID". I need to add screen names.
Give us back the ability to add screen names to our account. There are good reasons to be able to have multiple screen names. If you are unable or incapable of providing this simple service then get rid of AOL Gold and go back to 9.8. It wasn't that good but it is WAY BETTER THAN AOL GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stop auto updates
When new updates are available send a notification and let me do it manually. Now the auto update only changes the system tray icon. The desktop icon and start menu program icon is not updated until the system is restarted. Also, when an update is received the default search provider is changed to AOL Gold. I do not want AOL to make any changes to my system without my approval. I am running Windows 7 with IE 11.

Go back to providing a safe browser that does not intrude upon my privacy. Verizon now wants me to pay for a service that looks at everything, including my emails, all to sell info to others. I don't want a Big Brother, I don't want everything looked at, and I sure won't pay extra for it. And the final insult? Making it impossible to quit AOL. Luckily, an easy fix, had my bank stop authorization. Try it, you will prefer it to having some AOL person demanding to know why you want to quit, then refusing to drop my account.…

I compose emails in several languages. Please allow members like me to be able to TOTALLY deactivate the Spell Check feature like in thepast
Members that speak more than one language should be able to completely deactivate Spell Check like we used to do in the past to avoid those annoying red underlines that disturb so much our writing. Why will Gold not alphabetize Categories as the previous version did? Do you care that the failure to continue this feature creates work?
Automatically alphabetize Categories and give users the option to list the top [most used ] 3 or five (in alpha order).

Please consider the tab key function scroling from subject line directly to body of mail Vs send mail back to the former config
Prior to Gold Desktop the tab key function was available to tab directly from subject line to body of the mail. Now from the subject line the tab will transfer directly to the send mail, save address, etc prior to landing on the body.
Please consider options to the tab sequence, perhaps back to the way it was prior to gold?

'Reply to' feature
It would be great to have a 'Reply to' feature. In other words, if user A sends an email to user B and user B replies, the email goes back to user A. If user A could have a 'Reply to' feature e.g.,, user A could insert a different screen name for replies. I use AOL GOLD for our home owners association and most people have the tendency to reply to an email rather than forwarding it to an email address specified in the body of the email. In this case, a 'Reply To' feature would be great.

Address Book Feature Gone
I have a complaint. I have been able in my address book to always have all of my contacts in any given group in the bottom box automatically separated by commas. This feature is not longer available in Desktop Gold. It is a great inconvenience. It is moving me toward cancelling my aol after 15 years. It is a necessary feature for work.

Bulk email export glitch. No way to export an AOL email address book group folder to Constant Contact for bulk mailing service. Your tech Zack tried multiple ways--including web mail through Microsoft Edge. No dice. I have pages to enter into an Excel spreadsheet format--one at a time. Ugh.

Why does AOL Gold no longer tell us where a message has been saved?
DON'T simply say a message has been saved, tell us WHERE it was saved. Between AOL Gold's colossal stupidity or coyness about where a message got saved and Windows' "hovering" feature, I sometimes have to try half a dozen times to put a message where I can retrieve it. And THAT doesn't even BEGIN to address the clutter in my filing cabinet. This problem didn't occur with AOL 9.7, which I think was vastly superior to AOL Gold. Why are we paying for an inferior product full of ****** advertising and no-news "news?"
