Restore "notifyaol@abuse.aol.com" so we can forward fraudulent emails being sent to subscribers as being sent by aol.
Restore "notifyaol@abuse.aol.com" or create a new email for that purpose so that aol users receiving bogus emails seemingly from aol can be forwarded to you for investigation. I recently received one entitled "deactivation" that claimed I was cancelling my email account. This was pure baloney. I tried to forward it to the above previously working email address but was told it didn't exist.
Please mark the email as spam.

AOL and Microsoft
can aol gold be downloaded in microsoft windows S mode?
Unfortunately not. In S Mode, you can only install apps from the Store, and you can only browse the web with Microsoft Edge.

Permanently Deleted Emails
When permanently deleting email/spam, Permanently Delete IT! I'm tired of going into the recently deleted area and finding all the ones I had already permanently deleted BACK AGAIN!
Emails deleted from your Inbox or mail folders will be moved to the Trash (or Recently Deleted) folder, where it will stay for up to 30 days before being automatically permanently deleted.

Major indices key economic indicators
Please, please return performance of the three (DJIA, NASDAQ, S&P) or four (3+Russell) major indices to the top of your finance page. I know what I'm looking for when I visit Finance. If I find it, I may stay and browse. If not, you can bet the farm that I'll go elsewhere - fast.
Click on the Finance option on the toolbar and select My Portfolio from the drop-down menu. You will redirected to Yahoo Finance page where you should see the indices.

In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu. b. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.

1. In the top menu bar, click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon.
2. Click Browser on the left menu.
3. Click the Security tab at the top of the window.
4. Select the data you’d like to clear.

Due to recent adjustments to the AOL Mail platform, this feature is no longer available. I apologize for the inconvenience. In order to block a specific sender, go to the Mail menu and select “Block Unwanted Mail” and add the email addresses in the box below “Block Mail from Addresses I Specify”, then click Save Settings at the bottom, or mark the emails in the inbox as Spam.

Please clear the Footprints in the new AOL Desktop. Here’s how:
a. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu.
Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings.No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.

PayPal not working with AOL. Transactions do not complete.
PayPal does not work/complete transactions with AOL browser. Switched to EDGE and PayPal works fine. Need to fix AOL

AOL Gold slows my computer to a crawl
AOL Gold lags my computer down. I've talked to tech and they can't help. When I go into it the program opens 4 CefSharp.Browsers and 2 AOLDesktop.exe. I go from 8% Physical Memory used to 97% whenever I open an article. This does NOT happen if I am using IE. I have spoken with tech support to no avail. I have deleted and reloaded the program with no change.

2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.

My aol gold keeps crashing when I try to upload or download an attachment
My AOL gold was slow, so I called tech support.
They uninstalled it and re-installed the current version.
Now (only after that re-installation), my AOL Gold now crashes when I try to either upload or download an attachment.
Please send a report of this problem to our AOL Desktop team to have this investigated. To do that, click on the “Help” button on the top right corner of the AOL Desktop window, and select “Report a Bug” from the drop-down menu.

Beta 2428 - NOT RESPONDING - Even worse than previously
It took about 15+ minutes, having to KILL the task, restart, and having it mostly immediately go into NOT RESPONDING..

photos
When will photos be fixed so they can be pasted in the body of email and not as attachments? It used to work fine with Win 7 but no longer in Win 10 despite making photos smaller or cropping. Having an editor in Gold is useless w/o being able to send a photo. Now one photo won't even send, takes forever and then getting error message to try later. I have reported this "bug" for over 6 months and it still doesn't work.
You can use drag and drop feature or right click and insert picture.

Edit the Address Autocomplete Feature When Creating an Email
When adding addresses to a new e-mail (or forwarding one), a list of suggested addresses pops up. That list always contains email addresses that are old or people I do not wish to correspond with. How can I remove these unwanted email addresses and stop them from popping up when I send an email?
These are suggestions. The option is embedded in the application and its available for any type of application you are using. The feature its not only for AOL. Any other provider uses the same feature.

EMAIL Replies
When doing a reply, I HIGHLIGHT only the text I want to be copied at the
bottom of the email.
BUT now it ignores the HIGHLIGHTed text and copies ALL into the bottom...The default used to be, no highlighting = copy all.
With highlighting, copy ONLY the highlightedWe are unable to replicate the issue. Try restarting the software and if the issue persists give us a call at 1-888-265-3733

You can't say "CHIT" with an "S", but you can access all the **** you could ever want. Go figure THAT out. & they insist on removing my posts because they seem to disagree with my opinion.

Please fix the situation where the AOL search page pops up just about everytime I click a link in my favorites. Its annoying as F. and I'm seriously considering for the first time since I signed up for AOL in the 1990's going with a different provider. I mean, this week it even starting happening when I signed in. STOP IT! please? thank you!

Whenever we travel to Scotland, I am always having an issue with my
Password and a lot of changes is happening on my account last week of August. It's very inconvenient. Please get a fix on this as soon as possible for us to stay longer on AOLYour IP address is your location online and each session should start with the same few sets of numbers. Click any recent activity entry to view its IP address as well as the date and time it was collected. If one is drastically different from the others, remove it and change your password. Be aware that there are some legitimate reasons why your history can show unfamiliar locations, such as your mobile or AOL Gold software detecting the wrong location or Internet provider using a proxy server.
