AOL Tech Fortress
I down loaded AOL Tech Fortress to protect my Windows 7 desktop. It stopped "Windows Explorer" from oprating and sumarily cost me $300.00 to get it fixed. You had better take this program off the market before it does more damage. I called support and they could not help me so I went to a local professional.

Save To My PC
When the heck did you change the 'saved to my pc'? It used to save to a folder in My Documents ON MY COMPUTER! It was great as I didn't have to get on line to sign in to AOL to see mails I saved to MY PC! I don't like the idea of having to sign on to my email account, which requires an online connection to look for something I saved to my computer. Please bring back that feature.

From 2017 to 2020 there were 1398 whites shot by police verses 555 blacks. Don't "White Lives Matter" too? (this is according to national statistics)

Have a simple way to report email fraud
Have a simple way to report email fraud from an address which proports to be from AOL. I spent 20 minutes talking to a customer service rep who kept trying to sell me "stuff" instead of taking the fraud info from the email.

Sluggish AOL Gold - the Answer
I recently found AOL email inboxes and sent boxes taking for ever to open and generally sluggish, The problem was caused by me having masses of previous emails still held in the system. I created new in and sent folders for my old emails and transferred the old emails to the new folders. It took time. An alternative would be to delete the old in and sent emails if unwanted. My current email folders now work most efficiently and I get instant access.. So the fault was mine and not AOL's.

new mail sound
It is very frustrating that you can customize the sound for Welcome, You've Got Mail, and Goodbye but not for More Mail. In previous versions of AOL, I would assign the "You've Got Mail" sound to the "More Mail" command via Control Panel/Sound in Windows because you could barely hear the little CLICK sound it makes when you receive mail while logged into AOL. The AOL sounds no longer appear here and cannot be altered. So now we are stuck with the inaudible default click. Since these AOL software sounds no longer appear in Windows, would you please allow this…
