Dislike the program change too much for just letter and color concern
Before new update about maybe month ago or more and I like the way it was before. Because I look into mail letter to read then I close it then later reopen the app suddenly it went back to home page itself. It’ll lose my mailbox letter and then have too find the same letter a usual. I like the same situation like it was before and even the Yellow icon not good either too. Fix the full screen pop up ads, can’t access mail at all.
Visual BUG per Cust Service. Once in inbox ~3-5 sec screen goes white w/pop up ad in center. Only navigation buttons are New Mail, Home. You can go back to mail screen but in 3-5 seconds it just repeats the issue again. Not enough time to open emails or anything. Phone support unable to help, advised I log issue here. I’ve been unable to use AOL app since 2/23 AM. Deleted app, Reinstalled, ran updates, rebooted, nothing fixes it. Please correct or I’ll be forced to change email service to another provider. Logging onto AOL app after changing password is impossible
I simply changed my password and now the AOL app on my iPhone will not let me log in! I’ve tried everything! And yo want me to pay for any assistance with your app! I guess after 30 years with AOL you want me to leave for GMail! Congrats - I’ve had it with AOL!

Remove Deals and Savings Notification
There should be a way to opt out of the daily "Deals and Savings" notification on AOL app. I am an iOS user and it has been very annoying to see the app notify me and I assume it's an email but instead it's just the "deals and savings."
I don't mind having ads within the app, but to have the ads extend beyond the app and into my notifications is predatory behavior. Please remove for everyone or at least make an option in settings to opt out of those specific ads.

Fix app to not override .ics calendar entry date with current date
When receiving an external email with an attached .ics calendar invitation entry, the app overrides the .ics calendar date with the current date in the Apple iOS environment

When you an email on the day received there is no date stamp, only “today at 3:00PM”
On the AOL email app when you print an email on the day received there is no date stamp, only “today at 3:00PM” This is very inconvenient when you refer to the printout in the future as you have no idea about the date received. That is not the case on the AOL website mail. Perhaps there’s a setting on the app, if not it would be a big improvement if this was addressed. As far as I can tell this is not a setting on the printer.

Text in body fault
I was an AOL Gold Beta tester for years. When I use the iOS aol App to write an email, my auto signature is prewritten in the body of the blank email. When I type a message, the first word is at the top of the body space but the second word defaults to appearing immediately after the auto signature.
I have always thought aol was much better to use than "outlook" and " Explorer" and would suggest that since aol is a better user friendly interface, focussing on aol as the iOS email app of choice will be a…

ensure that it will still be working one day later.
Ensure aol mail will still work on new iPad, laptop, phone more than one day after purchase. That way a tech can fix before you take the new device home.

Update never opens to mail, always news
I am hating that the update defaults to opening AOL News. I only use the app for checking email, and I shouldn’t have to click to email every time I open the app. Makes me want to get rid of AOL. Change the default to whatever category a user last used when they were in the app.
