Teachers are hired to educate!
Simply because a teacher has something to share that's not on the curriculum, doesn't mean they should not be allowed to at least talk about it!
I'm not suggesting that a teacher initiate an actual conversation about LGBTQ...
But they certainly shouldn't fear discipline or legal action if the subject should come up as a normal part of a discussion... which it certainly can... and does... in this day and age!
I doubt that child sex trafficking is not on any specific curriculum either... but teachers are certainly free... encouraged even... to discuss that issue with students, and provide insight and recommendations for how they might be aware of it and deal with it!
These laws simply remove a resource for children who have questions and concerns, and who have a desire to find answers and resolutions!
And just an FYI...
I believe your question is not just a question... it's your answer as well!
