  6. How about one of your "help" desk people being able to get me into my AOL account! I've called two days in a row and have gotten no help!

    Bring your call center back to the U.S. for a start! Have supervisors available to speak to customers when the regular agent can do not a **** thing to help you. AOL is holding my account *******! Are you trying to go out of business????

    AOL really needs to do something about the comment section. Restructure it so a group of people can't oust anyone who doesn't agree with them. There seems to be the same group of male names that post on every article, or they are bots. I have apparently been banned for life from posting and so far no representative can tell me why. Please consider coming up with a new format. Obviously there are so many people in the same boat.Do something someone!

  11. On September 1, server changes are now preventing imap connections

    On September 1, 2022, server changes are now preventing imap connections to outlook, at least on my windows 7 computer and any type of connection on my kindle fire even with aol generated passwords. Impossible to share issues with tech support even if I pay for support. Are the days of AOL coming to an end?

    This issue is really not acceptable; I wonder what email services/accounts the owners and support team from AOL use?? I'm thinking that if AOL leadership were to encounter this issue there would be layoffs. I've been reading the history on the internet after encountering this myself and this really does not bode well for AOL. While I try every day to generate and app password "unsuccessfully" I'm not researching options. signed a very long time loyal customer :(

    My bank says your browser Desktop Gold is too old & not secure. So I called your "Tech Support" for help. What a joke. Can't speak in English. Wants to verify my acct. by sending a TEXT to my home landline that is what I'm talking on. So then He wants my driver's license number, Something you can't have to verify ID If I never gave it to you ever. So I ask for a Manager, And like usual, None are available right now.     Let PAID AOL Members actually get LIVE HELP 24/7 since we are paying for it. I tried calling and keep getting, "The office is closed", seriously?? Then what are we paying for?? I am not a happy camper!!! I've been with AOL since 1995, maybe it's time to switch!!!

  19. Can't setup aol email in Outlook

    I had to reinstall Outlook and now I can't set up my aol email in Outlook. I am using the correct password. It is not an Outlook issue. Please fix your GENERATE AN APP PASSWORD or get rid of it. Total BS!!!!!!!!
