  1. Stop scamming us with AOL tech problems we are then supposed to pay aol tech to fix

    Get rid of these horrible ads. I would be a willing victim of AOL extortion and pay not to have them. I was a paid member until i got all those awful ads slowing my computer relentlessly. I now hate google and verizon and any company adverstis ing. Since paying a fee does not remove them....I stopped being a paying member. Then both my attach and insert functions stopped working. Aol creates a tech problem and then wants us to pay to have AOL tech fix it. Nice scam . Should be reproted I will research how to do that…

  2. You SERIOUSLY need to hire a capable or reasonable editor or a proof reader/ad exec

    I have worked at all of the above and your articles/writers are SO exceptionally poorly educated or completely lack common sense, integrity, ability to spell or write a grammatically correct phrase or sentence, much less an ARTICLE.....

    I am am available on a freelance basis.... !!!!!

    One way or another, as the longest running "website" and provider.... you must be more cautious of the vendor site to affiliate yourselves with.

    They speak volumes about your reliability(rather than ad money"..... Do you want to be taken as a "credible" website or not???????

  3. easy account verification

    When verification is needed, instead of the notification popping up when ever it wants; there should be a tab to click on when we're ready with our phones or access to our back up emails. Then we could actually accomplish the task, instead of worrying about getting locked out, as the notification appears and disappear at it own whim.

  4. Explain choices provided by AOL to assist customers "problem solve" an issue.

    I received an email informing me that my email may need authenticating. For those of us who don't understand what that means, it would be helpful for AOL to provide some selections or drop downs that I can select for an explanation or clarification of what I need to do. It doesn't help to offer me choices if I don't understand which choice (potential remedy) is applicable to my specific issue.     USING CAPS MAKES IT EASIER TO READ. DOES NOT INDICATE HOSTILITY OR ANGER.
    PLEASE MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR CUSTOMERS WITH LIMITED EYESIGHT TO HAVE ALL WRITING IN LARGER FONTS (18 GREAT) AND IN BOLD. JUST LIST OPTIONS SIMPLY SUCH AS: WANT LARGER FONT? WANT IN BOLD? WANT EVERYTHING IN BOLD AND LARGER FONT? MAKE IT THIS SIMPLE. I AM 86.

  13. As Usual AOL creates two problems when there is only one.

    I am a paying member so AOL offers live help. But one has to wait forever for the live help, so in addition to seeking a solution AOL frustrates the user by being forever creaky in its response.

    Suggestion #1. Since live help is wasteful of the users time, why not provide a link for email directly on the "seeking help" page.

    Suggestion #2. Why I'm writing this in the first place. I am getting increasing numbers of SPAM with the address that starts out UnknownSender@.... The remainder of the address varies. Is there some way I can automatically…

  14. Increase tech knowledge/level for Help Desk

    There ought to be a way for Tech Assistant on a call to refer a problem to a certified webmaster. We experienced a problem whereby the email auto-complete for an address would ONLY print BOTH the Contact Name and the Email address. This made it impossible to send certain group messages when I only wanted folks to see email addresses, not names. The telephone tech assistant did all she could AND received NO HELP from whoever the Level One person was.   18. You sent out messages that might as well have been in a foreign language. I guess I will have to see what happens at the end of October.

    We're not all Computer savy. I can drive my car, but I can't begin to understand how to change oil, sparkplugs, brake fluid, etc. Think about it! I've stayed with AOL since the 90's, and have even paid for access all these years, even though I've been told by others I'm wasting my money. I've paid thinking you would take care of changes etc.
