You obviously don't care to change anything
You'd rather make users angry to the point they leave AOL than cut down on parasitic ads. The one that appears in New Mail and fools people to click on it is the worst. #Hateaol

Have a block sender option that actually works.
Have a block sender option that actually works with one klick just like the delete option does and it blocks it not just moves it to the trash folder.

No spam filters are accessible
There is no way to access filters to block spam because there is no”additional” settings under settiings. This is ludicrous.

I used to be able to hide ads. Now when i click hide ads, it says "ad hidden" but it's not! Nothing happens and the ad doesn't go away..it's horrible. I've been using AOL for 30 years and now i may have to delete my account. This is terrible!

Getting excessive amounts of SPAM.
I’ve had my AOL account for close to 30 years, but lately the amount of spam I’ve been getting is out of control. I spend way too much time every day trying to unsubscribe, block senders, and mark things as spam—hoping it’ll slow down—but it just keeps coming. It’s exhausting and honestly a huge waste of time.
I even called AOL, but unless I wanted to pay them, they wouldn’t help. At this point, I’m seriously considering shutting the account down for good. Hate to do it after all these years, but enough is enough.
Does anyone have any suggestions…

ALLOW ME TO DEACTIVATE THAT INFURIATING SPAM FILTER
I tried to vote for a post with the same issue but the vote button wouldn't work. I believe it is ABSOLUTELY UNFAIR that we cannot deactivate that crazy spam filter you have. One of my email addresses is used for emergency management and disaster relief coordination. Your filter has marked several extremely important messages as spam recently thereby delaying important responses. I have addressed this before with negative results. I stayed on when you people acquired my email accounts only because I wanted to keep my Verizon address and not have to go through the process of changing my…

Block an entire domain
Allow users an easy way to block an entire domain to eliminate spam in situations where the spammer changes a single digit in the name of the email, but the domain remains the same. AOL used to allow global domain blocks using *@hateddomain.org as an example. Or allow users to enter just the domain name, in this case: @hateddomain.org. The goal is to stop all email sender addresses from that domain.

Read and adhere to the list of blocked addresses - DO NOT POST messages from these addresses.
I have hundreds of blocked phone numbers and addresses listed on my Mac yet I continue to receive email messages sent by what appear to be the same blocked addresses.
First a question - are addresses marked and listed as blocked in Apple mail (linked to my AOL account) blocked by the AOL mail server?
My idea - read and adhere to the list of blocked addresses and do not post messages from them. Why bother to allow a user to block addresses if mail from these addresses is not blocked.78th ranked -
