  1. Fix the app crashes that occur while reading news articles. Being in software myself, I suspect the issue is with certain types of ads.

    Can’t See Email Accounts
    I’m using iPhone 12 Max Pro, iOS 16.3.1

    Just updated to AOL. Version 7.6.2

    When I open AOL. My email accounts are listed in Manage Accounts view, however when I go to Mail folders it shows no email accounts.

    In the upper left corner is shows a head & shoulder icon with the words Mail, No unread, with a spinner icon in the middle of screen.

    The previous AOL. version the upper left corner displayed a circle with AOL. Which you could touch to select a different email account.

    I deleted AOL. and downloaded again from…

    Please allow dating ad notifications in your emails to be blocked, they come up randomly In your email notifications and it’s very upsetting when you’re in a relationship and your partners sees these and Think you’ve been on the dating sites when they Have nothing to do with me

    What a bunch of left wing bias daily. It’s half the time bs. I have been a paid member since aol started. Get the ads off my email. Period. I’m a paid customer. I don’t want to pay another dime.

    I never should have updated my AOL app. It was awesome before and now has become so bad that I might be dropping AOL after using it for over 30 years!!!

    After contact deletion from contact list the contact still shows up. Only after completely relogging the contacts is actually removed

    Give the ability to modify/change/remove options at the bottom of the app. I want to remove “Online Classes” and add a favorite website or something more relevant.

  11. Stop reporting results of Olympic events right in the headlines that pop up as alerts on my phone.

    There are still people out there who may actually want to watch the Olympics without knowing the results of each event beforehand. You DO NOT have to report the results in the headlines. Please stop doing it. AOL news is the equivalent of that person who ruins the surprise twist at the end of the movie just as you’re about to hit play. No one wants to hang out with that person because they suck.

    Also, since I’m here, listen to the overwhelming feedback of many users asking you to stop opening to the news page as a default.

  14. STOP OPENING NEXT EMAIL (started AGAIN with recent app update)

    The recent iOS update started opening the next email, when you delete the email you are reading. That could open a SPAM message, putting user at risk. Such a dumb thing to do

  18. Thanks for the advice I am going to take it. I can observe a potential troublesome trend when displayed as the app did.

    The advice that I was thankful for was the way in which the app had gone back in great detail to illustrate to me that the trend was obvious for hackers and l was indeed being exploited. But I home and phone number, also not using double visibility verification

  20. New mail gets moved to old mail by just clicking on new mail. Frustrating!

    Clicking on new mail should not illuminate any of the existing new mail. This new app is crazy in that regard. Are used to be able to keep new mail without any problem. Now you have to be very very careful that nothing is highlighted when you click the new mail button. Because what happens is anything is highlighted automatically gets moved all mail even when you haven’t read it. Very very frustrating.
