Please take the stripe along the left side when we forward an email.
Lately we get a stripe down the side of an email if we forward the email. We don't like the stripe. Please take this off!! This is down the left side of the email. We do not like this.

email preview no longer working
Email Preview Pane No Longer Loads the next email after delete
When in preview mode: Emails listed on the left and email body and text on the right. After reading the email and press delete, the next unread email will no longer load without having to manually click on it. Was this a new, recent change? This seems to have started a few weeks ago from 8/01/2024. Please fix this, as it's very annoying to have to click every time to get the next email to load.

Need the email count of each folder that used to exist in previous versions. Please provide email count.
Gmail gives an email count for each folder. AOL should provide an email count of each folder. I don't understand why this is not provided. In previous version an email count was provided.

deletions of mail added back on by AOL in the total email count even though they are gone
When I delete (example) 14 new mail pieces, the count goes down, as it should, and a minute later it goes back up. Why? I try to stay below a certain # and what you say I have is not accurate when you add the deleted # of emails back on my total, it is not appropriate nor accurate. AND it is infuriating that what i have done is not controlled by me. I did not have this trouble on the old version. H E L P!! please.

Properly handle messages addressed to AOL email addresses
I am receiving bogus, perhaps phishing, messages that are addressed to AOL email addresses that start with my first name, but are arriving in my gmail Inbox. The most recent message was addressed to AltonLA@aol.com, with a Cc to AltonZh@aol.com. They were delivered to trippap@gmail.com, my gmail address. In general, other messages are addressed to Alton??@aol.com, where ?? represents two random characters, with Cc to Alton??@aol.com (different ??). I assume that, because the original To: is an aol.com email address, the message is first processed by AOL in it's servers and then sent out to other servers,…

The identify the pictures is not working right. It tells me I made too many attempts the first time I did it. I had the right answers.
It rid the of the identify the pictures. It is not working. The first time today that I tried to sign on, it told me I had made too many attempts and to try again tomorrow. Nonsense. I had only tried once, and my answers were right. It happened again right now. I already have a password and you text me. Enough is enough!

The "sender" field used to be in Bold text. What happened? Please tell me how to bring that back

Auth 2.0 security is not fit for purpose
Since this system came about email on iphones has been sketchy to say the least, numerous account errors, mail not downloaded from server. Mail not syncing with the server across different devices. basically it is rubbish. Never had the issue before deleteing and re adding the account does nothing.

Let me change the message notification sound like apple does. I do not like the default sound and there appears to be no way to change it.
Option to Select from message notification sound from list of sound options.

Allow a "back" button for mistakes
Many times, I have accidentally deleted an entire or a portion of a sentence while typing. Then, I would have to remember what it was I typed and retype it again. It would be nice to have an UNDO, REVERSE, or BACK button to bring back the portion of the sentence or sentences that were accidentally deleted by my clumsy fingers.
Please add an UNDO, REVERSE, or BACK button. This would be so helpful!

Allow users to change the order of labels
Allow users to change the order of labels such as Inbox, Sent, Spam, Trash, etc, so they can be easily accessed by how frequently they are used

Please increase the number of blocked email addresses from the max of 1,000 today.
Please greatly increase the number of blocked email addresses from the max of 1,000 today. 10,000 is not enough!

Prioritize the main function
It has become a major hassle to type an email. I will type half a sentence and then see nothing on the screen. By prioritizing putting animated ads in front of our faces, you've degraded your system to junk. Its like a race car that instead of just being covered in sponsor decals, its 10 tons of Jumbotron TV screens bolted to the body run by a 10,000 amp generator on the engine.
