Do not randomize email addresses on list and give number of addresses on list
My contact lists are sorted in alphabetical order. But when I compose an email using that list, the contacts appear in a random order, making it hard for me to see if a particular person is on that list. Why?
And I used to know how many persons are on that list. Now I don't. makes it very difficult to be sure I haven't missed out anyone.316th ranked -

bring back the option to open an email in a new window. Very important.
Also need more font choices, including Comic Sans, and need to have the option to make the font darker without having to highlight text and selecting "Bold."

Change for the sake of change is frustrating.
I don't like your new color schemes and I can't directly delete a mail without taking extra steps. Why do you have to change a system without adding any extra benefits. It just keeps your programmers busy. Maybe they should be let off.

Drastic change-who's idea??
People are transferring their emails to diff providers in droves. You eliminated "Insert image" in composing mail, etc. There are many other ridiculous, esoteric designs that are only fancied by their creators. [Too much time on their hands]. There are way too many other free providers out there that do not eliminate basic features. Oh well. Good luck

Learn from the past
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If we ask real nice, will you go back to the classic version? Probably NOT! The new design is not pleasing to the eye at all. Stop trying to justify your silicon valley salaries, you all be replaced by A.I. soon enough. Put it back!

Change the format and want to nickle and dime me for a ******* dollar to push a button to change it back. Yahoo is really looking great right now. Sorry things are so rough for you that you charge your members this way. Put you email ..... well, you knopw where.

Message Deleted Popup
Move Message Deleted box. Right now it pops up over the delete button and stays there. That makes deleting an individual email a 2-step process, since the box stays for a while. I need to delete the box that popped up for the previous deletion in order to delete the current email. Please move the box elsewhere.

Allow use of picture formats for signature
I can't use a photo (.jpg or .png) as my signature. Outlook and other email apps allow that.

I havebad eye sight. I need a larger font to read the inbox and the left panel ....
offer larger fonts so older folks can read the inbox and left panel....

The NEW AOL Mail
I like the "star" feature of the new mail, and the ability to select and locate the important ones easily in one place.
I do miss the "search" option of the old mail system, as I was able to fairly easily find e-mails I was looking for, rather than have to manually search the entire list.
Is it possible to bring that feature back into the new system?

Stop automatic showing of the next unread message
I have old email messages that I need to keep as "unread" but the new AOL automatically shows one of these messages when I close another message, then I lose the one I wanted to keep as unread. Please stop automatically showing the unread messages! I want to choose when I want to read them, not have them automatically shown.

What happen to separating the old emails with the new emails? It's pretty confusing when you want to keep certain emails as new.

Fix it
Listen, I have been hacked twice now and I am not happy about it. Obviously there is something not secure with your system and I am tired of it and I want it fixed.

Deleting older emails
Can you put something in place that the emails could be auto deleted after a certain time period or let us set a certain date. Also email to be deleted could be deleted automatically or let us go through the batch and save any that we would like to save before letting them delete. The process now is painful. You can delete all or none. I need to delete some.

Add subscriptions and receipts to AOL Mail (like Yahoo has)
Since this new AOL Mail is basically the Yahoo Mail interface, can you enable the Subscriptions and Receipts folders (in the same place Documents, Pictures, and Travel is)?

Providing an option to confirm or update a user's credentials
Not having an individual's profile settings is concerning. I'm not sure company legitimate anymore, according to media it doesn't exist. The inability to validate personal info for account, even though having paid support is concerning. Especially since account misidentified as a business account so often. I am baffled by the account's uncertainty, inconsistent reliability, and unwilling or lack of support contacts... which I pay for and need.
