Colors? Fonts?
What happened to pre-setting a text color? Or options for fonts? This is not better, not if I have to make selections each time I go to compose a new e-mail. Change can be good, but not when you lose options instead of gaining new ones.

To set your default composing font, please go to Settings (gear icon)>More Settings>Writing email>Default rich-text font>select from the drop downs the type of font you prefer and the font size. Im a paying subscriber and shouldn't be subjected to paying adds, Why is AOL, keeps asking me to subscribe to add free?

Hate sign in process
Lately you ask for a text code but thats not good enough, then you need an email code too!! Why do I even have a password if its no good?

I have now noticed 4 emails from 3 different senders that have gone straight to "Recently Deleted" without ever appearing in "New Mail"
I have now noticed 4 emails from 3 different senders that have gone straight to "Recently Deleted" without ever appearing in "New Mail". I stumbled onto this while on the phone with a sender awaiting their email. I suspect this is part of a platform update that has gone wrong. This is no good and needs to be fixed!!!

Our suggestion would be to access our help site on: https://help.aol.com/articles/use-filters-to-sort-and-organize-messages-in-aol-mail and double check if you don't have any active filters present on your account that may send your mails in trash. can't receive email from existing contacts including my office
Recently emails from my trusted existing contacts are missing, most importantly, from my work email. Other aol users have the same issue. Please fix! Rather urgent.
There is an authentication error on your senders end, we recommend authenticating using DKIM. We have this article from Microsoft; https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/office-365-security/email-authentication-dkim-configure?view=o365-worldwide or you can contact them (Microsoft) directly for assistance.

E-mail incompatibility with Microsoft
My husband uses Outlook and cannot change it, company rules. I have been using AOL for more than 45 years. As of 3 days ago I have not been able to receive email from my husband and that mail is critical to my business. your tech help and read then what Outlook says as to why mail did not go through. I was talking to the wall! I pay a premium with AOL, need help, dont get it????

Currently it seems only a full email address can be blocked. I would like to control / block at the DOMAIN level. Which would make it harder for my present main spammer = @ofefrsdtops.net to reach me, with ethe numerous mailboxes they use on the same Domain.

Thank you for the feedback, at this time we only have the ability to block the email address. However if the email has reoccurring language a filter may be best. You can find additional information in here https://help.aol.com/articles/use-filters-to-sort-and-organize-messages-in-aol-mail

not receiving email from specific addresses
My elderly not tech savvy mother has not been getting any email from two specific addresses -- USPS Informed Delivery and Buildinglink.com. She relies on thesse two addresses to keep up with bills and apartment builiding announcements. She hasn't been receiving any of these important emals since the beginning of Sept. They originally were being sent to her spam folder, which I had to mark as "not spam" several times since she is not sharp enough to figure this out for herself. I want to be able to post a link withOUT it automatically embedding and adding a video thumbnail. This might be THE MOST obnoxious change you guys have made to this new AOL. The whole thing is terrible, and I STILL have to reduce the window size in order to see the body text if I cc anyone in an e-mail. Seriously, this whole readjustment is a total piece of sh...arbage.

block sender missing
Block sender option is not available all the time when clicking on "more"
Hi there. If the limit of 1000 senders has been reached, the option to block new ones will no longer be available. Yu can check this list, by going to Settings>More Settings>Security and privacy.
As a tip, the block feature is best used for people, not spam, since spammers can use spoofed accounts. Meaning what you see might not be the actual sender address. The more often you mark these emails as Spam, the more you train your personal mail filter to recognize them as unwanted. If you need additional assistance, please contact us at help.aol.com

Bring back the ability to choose the size, style, and boldness of the type, and emoticans! It is so frustrating to have things I use a lot suddenly disappear from choice!

Can't force mail that goes to spam to go to inbox
Such a ridiculously easy concept in theory, don't know why aol makes it impossible. I have an online form where people offer me work - this now goes to the spam folder. Now, I tried to set it up so that every time the phrase "new submission" is in the subject of an email, it goes to my inbox. But it only lets me select "deleted items" or "archived items" as the target. If I type in "Inbox" manually, it tells me "Inbox" doesn't exist! So I have no way of my emails that I want going to my inbox,…
