Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

AOL Gold has no stationery and barely any choice of emotion emojis. Other AOL Mail versions on various browsers have it for FREE. Gold doesn't and we PAY for Gold. Come on AOL, it's been nearly 6 months since you replaced 9.8 with Gold and claimed it was better. Clearly from all the negative comments (min included) it's not better. It's "broken" so please FIX IT.

Bring back 9.8.2. It worked and it was free. If you want to charge like you do for AOL Gold, then do it. Whoever designed and switched over should be immediately shown the door. Don't be surprised if Oath or Verizon (parent company) gets a class action lawsuit over this since you are charging for it. AOL Gold does not work and I refuse to let an overseas help desk have access to my computers. It's not the computers; it's the program.

Fire Tim Armstrong, and bring back AOL 9.8.2. AOL GOLD is TERRIBLE. iT IS SLOW. IT SEEMS THAT NO ONE CARED WHAT THEY WERE DOING. AOL SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR BRING OUT A PRODUCT, THAT IS POORLY RESEARCHED.

Does OATH really need the money so bad that you have to run ads in everything?? they invade our emaill...chat rooms that dont work...you have taken so many things members have injoyed for years and years and call Gold improved. Half the time the emails dont even work...or all of your email disappears for no reason!!! Eliminationg Buddy List & instant messaging! Can't take many more "improvements"

Bring back AOL 9.2. This new AOL Gold software was not ready to launch. Also, you took away many great features that your paid customers were paying for. AOL Gold has to go.

I am paying way to much to endure the advertising. Old version was MUCH better. It takes three screens just to log in. Also, the mail does not work well at all. I have to individually high lite every move, from reading to deleting, to permanent delete. The edit>select all function does not work. Both the old v9.8 and the newer Shield work SO much better and quicker!! I am tired of being force fed these so called "services" that I don't want or need.

As related issue...I contacted AOL Corporate Escalation Department this past August and was "allowed " to revert to 9.8. I was told that this would give AOL developers an opportunity to gather info and repair bugs. I now again had to go to Gold and NOT ONE PROBLEM that I reported last August was fixed.

There is nothing good about Gold...sign off does not close browser; no download manager; "ghosts" of toolbar buttons clicked remain on screen; little availability to personalize look; etc etc etc
There should at least be an option to revert to prior versions (like 9.8) if users do not want Gold. And what is most disheartening is that we now have to pay for a much inferior product and do not have the option to use prior versions which did not have all these prtoblems

Gold was not ready. How many people have stopped using AOL ? I haven't been able to sign on now for two days. I have had AOL for almost twenty years and there has been so many flaws I 'm considering going to MSN. Which I don't like but know I will be able to use their format after using it for a while. PLEASE get this right.
