Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold

Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

    There are so many problems with this release of the product. So many things do not work the way that they used to work in 9.8.2.

    Such poor quality control will contribute to the increased popularity of other mail systems! ... and the demise of AOL

    The best way too improve AOL is go back to old AOL NOT THE GOLD.
    AOL GOLD ****............ Favorites is all messed up. Go back to old favorites. You can't add to toolbar, has no icons for it either. The biggest thing is IT IS VERY SLOW EVER SINCE I SWITCHED TO GOLD.
    AOL go into my pc tried to help it. All AOL wants to do is sell you a package deal to try to fix it. Its all about money. I cleaned up my pc and defraged it also to get rid of junk files. It is still much slower than the old AOL. Why so you give us a broken program, that should have been corrected before you tried to make us take it. Now all you want to do is sell us more junk. I think you all slowed down our PC just like the cell phone people did. Hope you can sleep at night morons.

    Give US a choice. Let US decide if WE want the new Gold or the PREVIOUS Ver. 9.8. MOST of us who have been with AOL for years HATE your new and 'improved" version....which it is NOT! Let US decide WHICH GUI....WE want...!!! GOLD is buggy and sluggish. Also, WHY must we constantly have to CLEAR footprints in order to make GOLD work sluggishly? This is the WORST version, EVER! I have been with AOL since Ver. 2.0. Started where AOL stated in Northern VA.

    Don't know where to start because all of my improvement suggestions are from AOL 9.8.2. The emphasis here is ALL suggestions. There is NOTHING about the AOL Desktop Gold that has been improved, absolutely NOTHING. One might say: "Regression on Steroids Personified with Godspeed".

    This version is awful. Very slow, buggy, not as many features, tons of ads...May be cancelling soon after 20+ years...

    Bring back 9.8. It was FAST and not sluggish like the "IMPROVED" Gold. Gold is TERRIBLE!!!!! Did I say....."TERRIBLE"....!!!!!! I wil say it again.......it is TERRIBLE!!!!!!

    I AGREE WITH THE COMMENT BELOW WITH AOL FOR 16YRS!!! THESE CHANGES WERENT FOR THE BETTER...NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE AOL WE WERE USING....

    IVE BEEN WITH AOL FOR 22YRS AND NEVER HAD ISSUES LIKE THIS!!! AOL FAVES IN ALPHA IS JUST RIDICULOUS.....WE CANT EVEN MOVE OUR FAVES TO HOW U WANT THEM.....IF SOMEONE WANTS THEM IN ALPHA ORDER THEY CLD EASILY DO SO BEFORE, HOWEVER WE CANT PUT OUR AOL FAVES THE WAY WE NEED THEM!!!! GIVE US AT LEAST THAT OPTION.....PLEASE....

    AND THE MAIL WAITING TO BE SENT IS NOW DRAFTS???? WHY?????? THIS IS NOT GMAIL....PLEASE PUT AOL GOLD BACK TO HOW AOL 9.6 OR 9.8 WORKED....NOTHING WRONG WITH THOSE AOL VERSIONS....THEY WORKED!!!

    Desktop Gold lacks many of the features of earlier versions and has nothing to recommend it. It was "not ready for prime time" when AOL forced users to switch to it.

    GO BACK TO 9.8.2 BEFORE YOU GO OUTTA BUSINESS. i'M SLOWLY WINGING MYSELF FROM AOL LEAD AS IT IS NOW REFERRED TO....
