Window Size
I want to have the window positions stay the way I put them in. Right now I have to change the position every time.

To adjust the window sizes, please follow these steps:
1. Drag one of the four corners of the window to your desired size and position.
2. In the top right corner of the AOL Desktop, click “Window” then choose “Save Window Size and Position” from the drop-down menu.
Please note that the option to save the window size and position will not work if the window size is set to full screen.

AOL keeps missing the point. We complain that we have to reset the position and size of the windows every time we log on. AOL responds with how to set the position and size and save it. IT DOES NOT SAVE beyond the session!!
Why don't you pay attention to the complaints and suggestions? Now that would be a good idea -

I have not had a problem with saving the window size and position. However, I would like to have the column widths and positions inside of the Mailbox window be savable. Fields like Date, From, and Subject as well as the width and position of "My Mailbox Folders". None of them get saved.

Please have the My Mail Folder portion be bigger or somehow we can adjust the size permanently.

AOL sure wastes a lot of its customer's time with problems that should never have happened to begin with.

Several Customers have complained about the inability to set the window size and position for Mail. AOL repeats the "solution." yet it doesn't work. I reset the size and position in Desktop Gold and go to Windows and set it. Next time I start AOL the old setting is back. Come on, what gives?

Windows size as selected goes back to thr original size every 2 0r 3 days. The old aol was far better than the GOLD that we now pay for. I never had any problems with OLD AOL.

The write Email opening screen width needs to be restored to the prior width because the present width is too small.

This is NOT an idea, it's a complaint, just one among many I have been forced to make because AOL GOLD Desktop is SO BAD! Funny and Sad that I NEVER had any of these issues with 9.8.2! EVERY single time I open AOL, I am FORCED to RESIZE all of my windows because regardless of the FACT that you have a "save size and position window" that I click on every single time, when I reopen the next day, the windows are all different sizes than what I "SAVED"! It NEVER WORKS! I am so fed up with AOL, and am using it less and less as I figure out how to work the other browsers; until I can be completely gone. I have a very stressful life already without having to deal with the ineptness of AOL, and it's refusal to fix it's problems.YOU weren't supposed to "fix" what WASN'T BROKEN, AND THAT WAS 9.8.2!

Most windows won't move and they are so tall that I can't see the bottoms of them which you sometimes have to see to click on Apply. The settings windows won't move to be resized at all. Please fix this. They are so tall that they cause scroll bars because hey go down to the very bottom of window.

Nearly every time I go on the Internet, I have to resize the window and move it to the left. Why?

The address book opens too small to immediately see the full name, mail, and phone number without resizing the borders. Once resized it doesn't remember the enlarged size.

I am glad you told me how to see who sender is from by maximizing inbox and using top arrows to move the barrier, however every time I maximize the inbox, when I open an e-mail it shrinks back down, and need to enlarge again, when I close it the inbox shrinks again, this is annoying, should only have to maximize once, let us shrink it back. Also please let us see how much e-mail is in other screen names when we go to switch our screen name. I do not want to have to sign in to every screen name all the time to see if any mail. You took that feature away and we do not like it.

It is driving me crazy that when I enlarge the screen that contains my mail, it collapses again once I have read that one piece. I WANT A LARGE SCREEN CONSISTENTLY. There is no advantage to small as it is just surrounded by empty (thank goodness) blue space.

I open my mail screen to full page option. When I click on 1 email to read, it automatically takes me down to a small screen and NOT in FULL SCREEN MODE. Please fix---annoying!!!!
