Now you have a three step process to sign on... are you trying to make Gold as difficult as possible... have you heard the term "user friend
The new sign in process is not user friendly... who in the world do you guys have working on this?
As you might have noticed we changed the login process in AOL Mail, to a more secure 2 step login, which helps prevent your AOL account from being compromised or hacked.

Logging in in Gold is a PITA - 3 screens to load to login compared to 1 in the old version - 1.Select account name, 2. Confirm account name, 3. enter password.

You were moving in the right direction, then decided to go back to a second screen confirming the first screen before you enter your password. Come on now, maybe the developers who are writing code should use AOL exclusively. This new format is plagued with problems user unfriendly additions and slower access to many simple features! Congratulations AOL developers you screed up even more with you latest release! I can wait to see what else you tried to fix!!!

Take us back to the old log in screen. The old everything is better than gold! I can log on to my welcome screen but can't sign on.It remains blank forever! My son is special needs with medicals issues and I correspond with his specialists at OSU Medical Center via email. It's frustrating when I can't log on to my own server which I'm paying! Beam me up Scotty I can't take anymore of this!!

Since AOL Gold has been on, you have changed your sign on procedure twice, will you ever get this thing right? There was nothing wrong with my old 9.7.2 but no, you had to change everything around. It's bad enough that one has to go through 15 - 17 pages to find the story headline. That really is bad.

Fix the sign on screen back to what it was in 9.8. in the new launch of gold you can pick your user name, enter you password and you were on line. Now I have to click through two screens to just get to the password screen. Who thought of this? One screen with a password spot...keep it simple

#1 Sign in screen. Every time it seems the steps to sign on get longer and longer. Why should I have to go through 3-4 steps to use my password to sign in. #2 Using mail. I put my cursor in the slot to put an address in and it bounces down to the writing area instead. #3 The printer icon is gone. Bring it back. #4 I pay for this god forsaken experience and I am not enjoying this. Please bring the 9.8 features back.

Stop encouraging us to save our password. We are not stupid.

Don't like having to go to full screen every time to view email as this is not needed for every email. Also, have had some emails with 3 vertical rows of pictures and the only way to view them is full screen. Unfortunately, the third row does not expand to be viewed. I agree with what others have said.

too many steps to sign in.
sign in and password box should be on same page.
used to be able to go to window and see and chose what aol windows were active-not available now.
cannot minimize toolbar-takes up too much room at top.
says right click icon to remove icon-doesn't work.
when switching accounts used to see how many emails were in other acts-does not show up anymore-have to switch and sign in to check if new mail.
can not resize pictures in email using mail.aol.com. -

I launch AOL. Then I have to click twice to get to the password screen. I enter the password then click again. Why don't you just put the full login screen on the first page? It makes me wonder about the competence of your design and coding staff.

this aol desktop gold sucks! first of all, there are far too many boxes popping up for you to have to sign on! why is there 4 boxes popping up? there should only be one box with the email on top and the password underneath! Then in the file section, the save and save as modes have been blacked out. should've left it alone! I want the old version back or im going elsewhere! this gold sucks!!!!

Things to fix on AOL gold.
Why do I have do go through three screens to sign in?
Where did all the fonts go for emails?
On favorites, how do I set up the order I want? -

In gold there is a useless extra new step to sign before you put your password in. Get rid of it. it accomplishes nothing, but wasting time.
