How about providing a progress bar when we send email with attachments.
Sometimes it seems that nothing is happening when we send an email with attachments. We could really use a progress bar.

Agreed. Feels like may parts of AOL Gold are dead. The progress bar was very helpful whn sending attachments.. It was also a way to prove that your attachment was really sent.

When sending an e-mail with an attachment, after hitting "Send" the only indication that I have that it might be doing something is that the buttons become lighter. I sit and wait and wonder whether it is actually sending it. The progress bar like 9.8.2. clarified that. I'd suggest bringing it back.

Please indicate how long an attachment or image will take to send on the AOL GOLD. Many features on the blue 9.8.2 are more user friendly

sending emails with attachments has become too difficult and there is no progress bar so I have no idea what's happening. Writing on the screen goes grey and I can't do anything. Then I try to close it off and I get booted out of AOL.

9.8 had a Progress Bar showing the uploading of photos within an e-mail being sent and for attached files being uploaded. With this new Desktop Gold AOL.... if there are many files or embedded photos.... there is a long pause of a minute or two while the photos and files are being sent in the e-mail...and no way of telling if it is working or not. This is very annoying.
