rotate pictures?

Can't rotate pictures received since went to AOL Desktop Gold.
Any ideas?

    I don't know why attached photos come in rotated, but they do. When downloaded and viewed they appear correctly oriented.,
    BUT resending them, they are inserted as they were delivered, sideways!
    A rotate option after insertion would be a very useful correction tool

    AOL Desktop not nearly as efficient a AOL 9.8. Agree?
