Why am I not being allowed to sign on and getting the following message?

I had this a couple weeks ago, tried to sign on and my saved password was deleted and no matter how many times I entered the correct password I was screwed. I had to call them to get help, the agent I spoke with couldn't change my password for me despite her numerous attempts, but finally managed to get me a token and change it. There are a lot of bugs and glitches popping up all the time.
Oh btw odd occurrence after hanging up with AOL... I received one of those scammer calls, the ones claiming to be Microsoft, what really got me is the fact the number is new, not listed (and not even in my name) and pretty much only used for the family calling. So I have no idea if AOL "shares" our information like everyone else, but I do believe it's very odd that I started receiving these calls (callers asking for me by full name, had this number since last August and none of these calls until now) not 20 minutes after AOL updating my phone number in their system.

This might be a problem with the AOL Gold encryption program. I had this happen to me, so it scrambles your sign it and then you can't sign in. Close and then try again and it might work. If not download it and install a new copy without the encryption part.

Revision #1703 is "dead in the water." Cannot sign in at all, plus my homepage has been changed. Please don't automatically install an upgrade on my computer that hasn't been tested.

why on earth do you make it so hard to get signed on, I've been with Aol for years and to way it is going I 'm going to have to Change servers if you do not quit making it so hard to do things.

AOL GOLD techs are not only idiots, but have no idea how to fix this 'made from scratch' desperation program . When AOL was purchased by Verizon (Oath, LLC) they did not get the 9.8 program in the deal. So, now a bunch of mindless twits are scrambling and dropping the ball altogether to come up with something similar to 9.8 but is aint working. Just look at the raft of complaints in this feedback section. Worse yet, is that now they charge for this sh*t? What colossal stupidity.

I am trying to sign on. The first sign on with 'continue' works and goes to the next sign on screen which is a total blank square for about half a minute. After 30 seconds this message shows up.....

why do you have to attempt 9 times for login to work - URL does not exist , too many redirects or it does not work at all

Clicked on "Switch screen names" but was unable to sign into my second screen name. It had an error that included the words "Too many redirects.". How can that be?? I on;y go to that name not even once a week. WE NEED TO GO BACK TO 9.8!
