Your stories are horrid to try and read. We pay good money and get nothing but adds and stories that drag on, and on, and on, til I just give up. I take the title and bring it up on one of my other browsers. I would drop your service if changing my e-mail address wasn't so time consuming, but it is starting to look more appealing all the time. I find g-mail a lot more user friendly and I have a lot easier time with hotmail for an address I use for unimportant mail.

Your news feed is now 50% advertising. Today, 25 out of 51 screens were ads, not news. Please keep ads to the side bars and offer more actual news content.

All the advertising takes the fun away from featuring people as they live their lives through out the years. I hate AOL's way of sucking you into their news and use so much advertising it covers part of the pictures of t he featured people. I think AOL disrespects us that pay each month.

INFURIATING ADS PLEASE do something about those big annoying ads. Your home page has interesting stories etc but when I go to read them, they are 1/2 covered up with some ad that will not move!!! No way to move it, exit it, etc. I find it infuriating, so let your advertisers know that. Whatever they are promoting --I immediately make a negative association with it. I consciously remember and want to ban those products from my life. I understand ones that you can wait a few seconds to x out , or those that are off to the side. But not if I have to engage with them about the 'ad choices'. I don't do surveys anymore. Ive actually called one of the advertisers to tell them how I hated seeing their ad). For a basic membership, you get a lousy internet experience. But for a good one, you have to pay 50% more. Seriously??!

You need to dramatically reduce the advertising. Users can't even read the smallest article as there are ads from all sides, right, left, top and bottom. I see no value in this service at all and will be pulling the plug very soon. If you had any respect or concern for your users there would be some semblance of balance but there is zero. If your not blinding me with unwanted ads your trying to sell me some unwanted account protection that should be included at no charge. Once I settle on a new ISP I'll be gone.

When I want to read something I don't want adds covering it. And then tell it in 3 to 4 pages.
I stop reading after the 2 or 3 page. -

I, am sick of the advertisements on your news pages. Why is it necessary for us to only read one paragraph of news and then have to go through pages and pages because of advertisements? GET RID OF VERIZON MEDIA and go back to being yourselves. It was great!!!!

Spectacular misleading headlines that take forever to get to the actual news. This happens again and again and I am so sick of it.

I gave up trying to read the story of the steps in Jerusalem because all of the damned ads were too distracting. There were just too many all blinking at once. They certainly don't make for a user FRIENDLY experience.

Don't know what greedy (dumb) person came up with these next, next, next articles. Each 'next' page only shoves more ads in our face. Either print a story or let it be. Few people read this garbage anymore. I'm fixing to leave AOL.

Stories like this are ridiculous, and you probably know it, but keep using it.
Also, when I read a story about something or someone, I don't want to keep clicking "Next Page" to continue with the story. This is 2020, get with the times! I've been with you guys for over 20 years, thinking about leaving if you don't clear things up.

Ad "Choices": When objectionable ads come up on the right side of the emails, there is a button for "Ad Choices" . Formerly, it allowed you to opt out of certain types of ads. This does not appear to be working now. I'm getting repeated ads from Kohl's for bras that might be appropriate for women, but I'd rather not have that on my screen. How can I block these?

Now it is almost impossible to read the featured news as ads block it and there is no way to delete the ads. I hate AOL but stuck with it.
