Your ad are over the top, one cannot read many articles due to the ad covering them. I did not sign up with AOL to read ads. Is there any way to stop or reduce the amount of clutter.

Again get an add on the side of my e-mail, with AOL annoying pop up ads that are everywhere, saying internet security code 055bco etc. which locks the computer up trying to get me to download something. 4th time this week. Been going on for few months now. Have to close out AOL through task manager. My computer is fine, it is their pop up ads. They still are not doing anything about it.

Again, AOL pop up ads locks up my computer, trying to get me to download something about a virus. Have to close down AOL by the task manager. This happens every week, and already 3 times this week. It is in their ads, and they will not do anything about it. Time to use only GMAIL if they do not fix this. Going to lose another paying customer

I was TRYING to read the "Give It Love" segment, and all of a sudden those Friggin video ads plowed into the bottom right corner and fllopped around. I don't know if whoever puts this stuff together puts any attention to it or now, but all that flopping around is really distracting, but then I didn't grow up playing video games 24/7.The only way I can get away from those **** things is to leave the site, which I did. It appeared to be a fine story, too. AOL has really gone to **** in a handbasket.

It seems that if we're now having to pay to use the AOL GOLD software, then we shouldn't be seeing advertisements at all.
I have numerous programs installed on my computer that are free, and show advertisements.
When I choose to purchase the Paid version, then there are no advertisements.
Why are all these millions of people paying to use the AOL software, and now we are bombarded with advertisements???? -

How true - frustrating and making one get very disinterested in anything AOL has to report. Time is of the essence and clicking past one ad after the other makes one weary and very tempted to LEAVE AOL.

advertisers pay attention:
1. another 5 interesting headline articles I skipped
2. I pay for aol. I object to having ads interrupt everything
3. I promise I will never buy anything that tries to force me to look at it
4. slideshows suck -

I can't even get an ad to go away. It just keeps coming back. You may be losing me as a customer if something is not done about this

TOO MANY ADS jumping all over screen when trying to read news items and having to click on NEXT way too many times to get to the "answer". Also, if I don't wait for the ads to settle, then then one hops right where I was going to click and have to close it. Overkill on the number of ads, too. I am paying member of AOL and don't want so much activity on page. Some ads understandable but these are too many. Been a member for many years but not happy with the current setup.

Your idea of generating more revenue by allowing ****ads is just too much for me to want to continue on with AOL. Many of these ads are nothing more that scam artists trying to access your computer and account Don't tell m to work with your tech support group as I've been burned by them more than once and they couldn't fix what my concerns were. Bring your tech support in house with people who can speak english that I can understand.

There are so many ads popping up all over my screen that I can't see more than two lines of what I want to read and certainly can't see any graphics or photos, I do not read the popups and if I did I would not respond, purchase, or patronize the companies and products,. I'm sick of Gold pushing junk on me that I don't want to see.
