Pop Up Ads won't stop. I can't complete reading an article on the AOL main page without 20+ ads popping up. This is not acceptable, especially when you are charging me monthly for AOL Gold. Gold has never worked properly.

Trying to read the story on Ed Sullivan and one of those damned ads jumps into the lower right corner and bounces around. Do you have to be so damned obnoxious with the ads?

thought that paying you each month would eliminate your ads as well as not being able to read a story without having ads and "next page" instructions. Guess I was wrong. You guys really screwed up a good thing. think I will change to google and stop paying you to make me angry and frustrated

I do not understand why we have to put up with ads in our emails and mailbox, now that we have to pay to use the desktop software! Seems to me it should be one or the other, but not both!

Been a AOL member for over 20 years but looking into other services. AOL has so many advertisements and pop ups that its impossible to read articles. They are very tricky about it an screen freezes many times. Also I'm afraid to give my email address as I've been getting so many spams lately, think they are selling email addresses. I HATE AOL GOLD

Stop covering up news items with ads and pop ups. Put total news items on one page instead of having to click next and then have a ad appear instead of the article. Many time I can't get through the next item and have to start all ober. I've given up on 90% of your news articals due to this.

Can you actually be unaware that the ads that are constantly on the galleries obstruct the view of the images there? I can't believe that you would be aware and still neglect to correct that problem. If you are aware and choose to do nothing about it, then bad on you for that.

cut out some of the adds on welcome screen!

Two and three adds are a menace, you can't even comfortably read the article, and some you can't figure out how to turn them off. What am I paying for to use the AOL Gold link, harassment?

It is so annoying to open an email, then have to widen the screen to see it because of the advertising on the right side. Please put it back on the bottom. Or do away with it completely!

I was trying to read an article, and, lo and behold, a damnable ad was flopping around in the bottom right corner, and it was a good sized one too. Do you people get your jollies out of putting those **** things in? They are a huge distraction. I can assure you that I will neither watch or buy whatever is being hawked. I'd like to finish reading what I started, but that will depend on the flopping ad.

This is so true. It's sickening. I would never have believed that Verizon (who bought AOL) would do something like this --- not to mention all the other problems we have. I feel like leaving AOL and dumping Verizon phone and computer connections.
