    Why have many of my contacts in my address book are gone!!!????

    desktop gold is not displaying my contacts. There have been 2 tech calls and several days no and no action has been taken. When is AOL going to fix desktop gold address book.
    I am gong to be forced to take other action- perhaps calling investigative reporters, posting to facebook, twitter and other sites about the service AOL is providing.
    FIX THIS PROBLEM

    ALL OF MY CONTACTS ARE GONE. Reported 3 days ago to 2 different tech during 2 different time wasting calls. a ticket was supposedly started to resolve the issue with higher level tech and it has not been addressed.
    I have been a customer well over 20 years but that may end soon unless someone fixes this issue immediately. I don't pay for inaction. FIX THIS ISSUE NOW
    it is a common problem and others seem to have the issue resolved. How come I am having so much trouble getting this taken care of. I have wasted hours on the phone, lied to and nothing- nothing has been done.

    I go in and delete mail permantely and the new owners of aol put it back trying to sell another plan.

    Get better programmers. Whomever thought of AOL Gold destroyed our faith on AOL!! I've used AOL for over 25 years, now it's the WORSE!
    My address book disappears and appears whenever it wants to. Or chooses ONE file and makes it disappear and then it appears when you least expect it. AOL has become veeery slow. I've changed servers and it's not the server its' AOL. Sometimes it like freezes and the right side goes blurry and the email won't open so I have to close it and try again. The categories USED to be in alphabetical order in the old system, with AOL Gold the files went all over the place so when I need to email my Board it's not in alphabetical order so I have to look for it all the way in the bottom almost. I really cannt believe I'm still PAYING monthly for AOL!

    Today your AOL software wiped out my Address Book completely. Blank Nothing.
    I have addresses for years there. What is going on.
    You must bring back my address book now.

    My address book is completely gone! Why? I have information in there that I cannot duplicate. Bring it ALL back!

    I was taken to AOL Gold because the 9.6 version had so many problems. Your representatives did the transition and "lost forever" my Address Book entries for my primary screen name. It held hundreds of addresses. You should (and I suspect could) correct this. I think this is not a capability problem but a priority problem.

    WTH is going on with aol gold? This is the second time in a month that my Address Book has disappeared.
    It's a new problem every day and some of the same old ones that still haven't been fixed. Get some IT people that have graduated from high school and get it done right.
