What is wrong with with Search Mail?? I can't keep search by email address as a preference.
I always search mail by email address only. Now when I open the search for email it is set to find emails by subject only. How do I get my original preference back? Why is AOL getting worse by the day?

When I ask a question all I get are a list of articles that do not answer the question. Why can't I search my contacts by first name? Which I have always been able to do. Very, very disappointing! I may be looking for a new email.

I used to search emails by the email address of the sender. Why has this been deleted. No one can remember past subjects for searches!

When I search mail under my name it is because I am looking for emails I send to myself, addressed to myself, as reminders. But when I search with my name I get every single mail on my hard drive no matter who sent them. This is insane!

This has been one of my complaints. I wish to search mail by email address as I have done on AOL since the 90;s, but with AOL Gold the search opens to "Search by subject". I have to keep changing it which is very annoying as I search mail often. Please fix this and at least let us set a default.

I want to be able to have a 'default setting' to search "all my email" with out having to set it up each time

I have the same problem. Since the 90's when I searched for mail it wass always set to search by email address.
Now it is set to search by subject which I do not want. This is very annoying as it takes an extra step to change it choose search by email.
Can anyone please tell me how to fix this so that he default is search by email?

When I search for emails I sent to myself as reminders, what comes up is every single mail I have from all 3 mail boxes no matter who is was to or from. It was not this way on the old AOL. Also, I always search by email name only but whenever I open the search it is set at subject only. Please fix this. The mail is useless to me this way.
