When AOL Desktop Gold was first launched, the option to reduce images for sending in an email disappeared (when embedding images the old Desktop software always gave us two choices: optimized or full).
I had asked about this issue then and did find a workaround by right mouse clicking on photos, which was a little bit of a pain to do but I dealt with it.
I just went to embed some photos today and the old option popped up asking me if I wanted to insert as "optimized" or "full".....yahooo!...thank you so much!
(also, being able to have alphabetized favorites is a HUGE plus too!)
I've been an AOL (paying) member since 1995 and always prefer to use the AOL software over standalone browsers. I'm so glad that Desktop Gold has most of the same functionalities as previous versions.
