I am very disappointed.
My son goes on AOL Gold by switching screen names under my main account. Today he was online then signed off to go to the store. When he came back and signed on again, there was a popup that said he had to pay for AOL Gold. When I went on AOL help, his screen name was no longer there, but a strange name that we did not create was (this name is not on my drop down in "switch screen name"). Live chat could not help. They gave me the number to call and after an hour and a half, they told me the name of the person who made the new account, a stranger. They also said that my son's account was now independent and I would have to pay for him to have AOL Gold. However, I could not delete the account Erica ****** (the stranger) made. So now I'm paying for her to use my account and have to pay for an additional account for my son, who has been on my account for many years. The tech support I spoke to says he can only communicate with the supervisor by text, so there's no one higher up I can speak to. I want my son's name, **, to be restored and ************off my account. I've used AOL since 1993. I would hate to have to cancel my account now.
