Here is how you clear the footprints in AOL Desktop Gold:

1. In the top menu bar, click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon.
2. Click Browser on the left menu.
3. Click the Security tab at the top of the window.
4. Select the data you’d like to clear.
5. Click Clear Footprints.

    I want to have the old feature of the aol search bar wherein I will be directed to the specific website not a search help where there are a lot of links

    Ever since you added Suggestions to drop down search bar my browser throws my letters out as I type them. I'm so fed up with this I'm ready to quit AOL finally after many years. I pay for this **** service and it is putting **** in my bar when I clear it every 15 **** minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get rid of this problem please!!!!

    when I open the address I see names there listed as trending researchers . I would like to have that removed because I am not interested in those names.

    I want to delete all my browsing history including the AOL top searches but I was told by AOL tech that I cannot delete the top searches even though they were not my searches.

    Whatever you did to autofills for URLs is not good! It formerly worked fine. I like to get back to the last website used for that first letter.
