Oath and AOL . . . New Welcome screen is terrible, layout is sub par, Can't find half the news you want. Which is another problem, it's 8 in the morning half the time before you post news that everyone else has.
When you have this many people using your product WHY would you go and make drastic changes to it THAT NO ONE LIKES. -

I went to read my mail today, and the display looks like the free version. I don't like it; it's one of the reasons I've stayed with AOL all this time. Give me the old version.

I hate the new welcome page, it is a total mess. You need to allow us to go back to the old version. I have not seen a single comment saying anything good about it.
You need to listen to your users. I pay for AOL.

I HATE the new welcome page. I want to go back to the old one. OR allow me to put what I want on it and delete the rest. I DO NOT have pets and DO NOT need any information on pets! I DO NOT want to read a horoscope and DO NOT want to see that.

AOL OATH evidently does not care 1 iota what customers need or want - all posts on this forum fall on deaf ears at AOL. - new ownership completely lacking in integrity + professionalism !!!

Simzee is absolutely correct about AOL censorship - on this forum i have had almost EVERY post critical BUT TRUTHFUL about AOL +| OATH'S lack of integrity , bias , intrusive policies , lack of professionalism , lack of viable tech support , failure to listen to or accommodate long time customers , + etc. have all been closed , merged into obscurity , or never posted at all !

PLEASE MAKE YOUR HOME PAGE FAIR AND BALANCED POLITICALLY WITHOUT FAKE NEWS OR I WILL CANCEL MY ACCOUNT AND HAVE ALL MY RELATIVES DO THE SAME AS WELL AS ALL OUR FRIENDS and NEIGHBORS. Thanks, Jerry Coad

Why is it that ONLY bad stories about Trump are on AOL. He is the President of the USA and he has made a bad habit of putting his foot in his mouth but he has put the country in the right direction.

Why force us to have the welcome page open at sign in? It just makes signing in take longer waiting for it to load as it freezes AOL for several minutes. I close it out as soon as it is loaded as I no longer waste my time trying to read any news on it. I am sure I am not alone. If there are any people left who actually read it, they can just open it up for themselves.
Interesting note: I no longer get pop ups or spam in AOL since I stopped reading anything from the welcome page. I never clicked on anything except news stories, so they must be loaded with something that would cause all kinds of pop ups and spam even after the welcome screen was closed out. They stopped popping up when I stopped reading thru the news articles and while I would get these popping up in the Gold desktop, I never had any pop up in any other browsers I use. It became obvious to me where the pop ups were originating from as I have changed nothing else on my end. When I stopped reading news, the pop ups and spam magically stopped. -

I agree with the previous comments, why pay for something no better than the free version? I have been with AOL for over 25+ years and am considering the free version because the news is repeated. Makes no sense are your workers not capable of finding new stuff? I also do not like the format.

I agree. I've been dumb enough to pay for the site for years, mainly because I liked the news and the subscription to a few things. There is no reason to pay for a site with a horrible layout and less news

It seems to resemble the free version more and more. This latest incarnation is actually worse than aol.mail.
