NOT ONE POSITIVE COMMENT IN MANY MONTHS. HEY AOL? LISTENING?
Absolutely right, new GOLD *** major wind. The old AOL program was much more stab;e and user friendly; This GOLD version is not only an embarrassment, but probably ripe candidate for a class-action lawsuit. AOL should stop charging customers for an inferior product that is rife with problems not found in previous versions. AOL? ARE YOU LISTENING? EL **** !

Agree! Have had more problems with AOL since Gold than I've had in 20 yrs! Takes FOREVER to sign in! I have deleted and reloaded AOL and still takes probably 5-10 minutes to boot up AOL! NO EXAGGERATION! I have no problem opening other applications...only AOL and I pay monthly for this frustration?!? Printing problems...

The anti-South bias of your "research" stories is so obvious it is ridiculous. We who live in the Southern United States are tired of the old make-fun-of jokes and put downs. It's old, it's not relevant, and it's not true. We hate fake news, fake accents, and fake research which is founded in old ideas, tired caricatures, and veiled insults, and we can spot them a mile away. Update your prejudices people.

You have expressed my thoughts very well. Right on! Your last question is the best. I do NOT think they read this.
I cant figure out how to get their attention and also DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT "HELP" IS SAYING BECAUSE OF THE ACCENT.. TRASH. THEIR HELP IS ABSOLUTE TRASH. -

I'm getting sick and tired of the consistent AOL message "OOPS, something went wrong".
There appears to be no good reason, let alone an explanation, for it to happen.
Just makes you go back and start all over adding to the slowness of AOLGold. -

I've reported this before, I pay for the service, it takes over 3 minutes to sign into aol proper. Not responding is the message I get. Yet, if I use firefox, I'm into aol anywhere in 15 seconds. If your not going to address the problem, and it's not my computer, than in a very short time, I will be cancelling your service. I've been with AOL for over 20 years and I'm starting to get very upset with this service I'm paying for.

I have submitted feedback on this and never get a reply of any value. I am paying more but getting less with AOL Gold!!!!! I can no longer work offline - I cannot even save an email I have written if I lose my internet signal. I can no longer send emails to my industry group as after sending a few I get locked-out for "Error code 475: Suspicious activity was detected on your account" even after I change my password.... Trouble is I cannot access my saved emails without being online and on AOL Gold.

Aol's rollout of Gold could be a Harvard case study of one of the worst in history, except that Harvard would be too busy laughing that only old people use Aol. I never understood why you could not communicate what you wanted to do with this product.
At a snail's pace, I've finally seen some improvements but you still have a long way to go if your plans are to bring back customers. Ex. Increase download file size from 25MB. The Welcome page should be re-titled Click-Bait. It's a disgrace. Either put up real news or eliminate it.
A really interesting proposal would be a separate price for minimum or no ads with features that customers really want. It can't be just eliminating ads, it has to be an upgraded product.

When are AOL (I suspect your sister the Huffington post is the culprit) going to cease with this hounding of Harry and his wife???? The amount of clickbait **** and totally unnecessary "headlines" you creatures make up is now bordering on an obsession. Remember his Mother who was hounded till the day she died. Why on earth are you going through their every move with a fine tooth comb creating headlines that have little or nothing to do with them?? Its abhorrent and why you need an outside board of conduct as its obvious you cant police yourselves. Stop with the near truths, no truths and pure speculation, its not healthy and its not fair to constantly have a microscope over their every move.

Time to unscribe to this f-ing program. If enough subscribers leave so will the advertizers and OATH will lose all their money. This program is useless. And on top of everything else they refuse to get rid of the trolls in the chatrooms. This apple guy with his multiple screen names trolls everyone in all the chat rooms making it impossible to have a decent chat with anyone. Just keep it up OATH and watch as we all unsubscrible and move to wireclub

every **** day there's something else to cause frustration with AOL GOLD
I have to go to Google to do almost everything--numerous things I can't open in AOL and have to go to google It's freakin ridiculous that I'm paying for this--I've been w/aol for like 30 yrs and have to figure out how transfer lots of stuff I have saved and search for another provider -

I am a dog rescuer and have been able to send mass emails to our customers. Unfortunately, now Desktop Gold will not allow me to copy and paste pictures or if they do, they give me an error message. AOL has enough problems with AOL in general. Please make it better not worse.
In addition, I have been trying to update my billing information and AOL has cut me off without even a warning or an email asking me to do so before you cut me off. I've been on AOL for 23 years and I have been begged by my clients to get off AOL. I just may be angry enough this time to do so.

Long time AOL customer here! If it weren't such a hassle to change an email address that I've had for so long, I would be out of aol in a heart beat. I too agree that the old aol was fine. Now we pay for DeskTopGold expecting some benefits - but no. Nothing but issues. Too bad.

This version of AOL is horrendous - trouble signing on and that infernal window wanting me to add a phone number - how many times does one have to be added. TOO MANY ads, slows down access and even freezes aol with so much **** being loaded. Half the time I never get to see the link I clicked on - too much garbage.

I totally agree. Why am I paying for all of these intruding ads when my gold is supposed to be ad-free? I PAY FOR AD FREE!!! I have been a customer for 20 years and seriously looking for a new email. This product is UNSTABLE and whatever changes you made I disagree with them all. Please refresh this product and get RID of these horrible ads and you cannot even read the news without them everywhere!
