I don't like having to agree to delete an e-mail. It's one step that is annoying.
In order to disable the prompt, please follow these steps:
1. Open the AOL Desktop Gold and sign in.
2. Click on the ‘Mail’ menu on the top left.
3. Select ‘Mail Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
4. Uncheck ‘Confirm before deleting items’, and close the window (changes are saved automatically).

Why did you change the delete systems so that when I want to delete email, it asks if I want to delete it and I have to say yes twice. Once was bad enough.

On AOL Gold you have to go an extra step to delete an email. On other platforms AOL does not require this extra step. What gives, we know when we want delete an email item. Quit wasting everyone's time.

I never delete an open e-mail as I get a warning if I'm sure I want to delete it. I would delete it from the mailbox instead because I never got that warning until a couple of days ago. This is completely unnecessary. If I mistakenly delete an e-mail I can recover it by clicking on recently deleted e-mail. I now have to go through an extra step to delete emails. I'm not happy about it.

Take out the box that pops up asking if I want to delete this. It takes twice as long to delete mail now.

I am tired of hitting :are you sure you want to delete", on every email!!!! a waste of my time. I don't have to do that with yahoo, gmail, or any other service i use that's FREE. I sure am not going to waste my time and money doing it. Take that off or i will drop AOL like a hot potato!!

You've taken away the ability to see how many mails you have before even logging in. We now need need to go through 2 screens to sign in. We've never had the ability to delete a group of mails at one time (as other providers do give their users).. now you've made it that when you delete a mail, you get the box to confirm deletion. It then goes into your deletion folder, and again you have to confirm each deletion. Really???? Do you know how much time this takes?! It might be time to switch to my internet providers mail....since that is included in the price I pay monthly. Very sad...you had a good product, and in your efforts to improve it, you've just made it worse!!

Put it back the way it was. It's a pain to have to click "yes" after I delete an unread e-mail.

I have been a member since 1988!!! 30 years with the same email address. Now I have to click twice to delete an email?? Seriously> I delete over 100 emails per day and this is just terrible, and no reason for this. More and more reasons to drop AOL. Stop this add on feature Does not protect me from loss of email.

Get rid of this ridiculous extra question about deleting. I do not wish to be asked each and every time I delete if I am sure. My deletion is already covered in the Recently Deleted category, should I want to Restore it. Totally annoying and unnecessary.
