        I am having a problem with friends not receiving my emails , they are getting emails from everyone else but me SO I know it is an aol problem , I have tried everything to fix it and nothing has worked. the sad part is I have lost friends because I received their email and they never got my response !
        They thought I was ignoring them and didn't want to bother with them. I did respond but they were never received. I did not get any message that they didn't go through, I still have one old fellow that is sending me emails , I am getting his but he is still not getting mine, he contacted his IP provider and someone even went to his home , nothing is wrong on his end IT is AOL that is the problem , my emails are not getting sent through as they are stating they are sent. If I send to charter.net it will be received but I have only one friend that has charter.net and soon I will have none but an old man ! Because he believes me and is trying his best to help me figure this out.

        Getting the message "mail not sent due to error" Sent to several contacts, so took them off one by one, still got the message. Finally took them all off, guess what, still got the message. What is going on?

        Have not been able to send mail or even send later what gives???? Come on you charge me a month fee yet you don't provide the service.

        Weeks ago, I began getting a delay in sending out ordinary emails, then a screen would appear with the message: "Your email was not sent because of an error." There was no number or explanation given why not. Finally, last week I called AOL tech support for desktop gold and they acted like they had never heard of such a message and asked me to photograph it and call them back. I did that and yesterday called back, but they still could not help me fix the problem. Then they shared the fact (as if I should be happy) that for over a week, some AOL users could not send out any mail at all. I have removed every setting except "notify mail was sent". There should be no setting I know of preventing my mail being sent. It seems that there should be someone at AOL who could find and fix the glitch I've had for many weeks preventing 1 out of 3 ordinary emails from not being sent...doesn't mater if it is a repy, a new email, a forward email, etc. Some will not go out at random it seems. Please help AOL!!!

        Alright I am going into my 2nd week of not being able to send emails except once in awhile after getting nothing but error messages!!!! I see I am not the only one with the problem. Tech says they are working on it but 2 weeks???? this is ridiculas that we pay for this incompetancy........give us back our old AOL it was so much more reliable than this ****.....I don;t think AOL cares about their members only the companys that pay for the ads!!

        YOU WANT ME TO DESCRIBE MY IDEA? NO YOU DON'T BECAUSE ITS A PHYSICAL IMPOSSIBILITY FOR YOU TO DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THIS *** YOU CALL A PROGRAM THAT WE ALL GET TO PAY FOR AND GET NOTHING BUT HEADACHES. I'M TRYING TO EMAIL AND AM REPEATEDLY GETTING A NEW ERROR MESSAGE. SO WTF IS THAT ALL ABOUT? I HAVE REPORTED IT AS A BUG AND NOTHING IS HAPPENING. I CANT EVEN SEND THIS MAIL TO MY WAITING TO BE SENT FOLDER SO IT CAN BE SHARED LATER WHEN YOU GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. MAYBE WHEN I'M DEAD THIS EMAIL WILL GO THRU. THE LACK OF SERVICE, THE CHANGES MADE, THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TAKES TO GET MAIL DONE BECAUSE OF YOUR INEPTNESS IS JUST NOT WORTH MY TIME. I'M SICK TO DEATH OF YOU CHARGING US AND AFTER READING SOME OF THE EMAILS POSTED HERE ITS CLEAR THAT YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF KEEPING US HAPPY. I'D RATHER GO BACK TO DIAL UP THAN DEAL WITH THIS **** DAILY. IN FACT 3.5 WORKED MUCH BETTER THAN THIS GOLD **** THAT IS NOTHING MORE THAN RUST. GOLD INDEED. YOU SUCK.

        PLEASE HELP! For the last several days I've had issues sending emails. Sometimes it works. But a lot of time I get THE MESSAGE WAS NOT SENT BECAUSE OF AN ERROR I will clear out my browser, etc., restart AOL, restart the computer, and it will be okay for maybe one email. Then, it starts again. Sometimes if I put it in my draft folder then send from there, it works. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! PLEASE HELP!

        I have been having issues sending simple emails for weeks now.....what is up with this? Please fix asap.

        This is very frustrating. I have spent a great deal of time trying to get this fixed.
        AOL needs to a) FIX THIS PROBLEM, b) NOTIFY customers when there is a problem like this that it is a system problem and what we should do, c) PAY US FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE--give us money back or a credit.
        I have been an AOL customer for over 20 years and the service is getting WORSE and WORSE. I will switch systems unless something improves.
