Hi - I would like it if you could block emails with certain words in them.

Please allow us to block emails with certain words in them. I get about 20 emails a day that are spa but I can't block them with keywords. The email addresses with todays tech have about 20 different character combos so you can't effectively block them by selecting just the email address.

    it would be great to be able to filter out and block addresses with certain words in the address...i.e.. no-reply@

    YES PLEASE bring it back, I've been yelling about this for too long - over 2 years! AOL 9.8 and predecessors used to have this GREAT feature, and then someone did away with it without warning. I'm getting bombarded with spambots again. I talked to tech, and they said to open each one and block it - each one would be added to the list. Guess WHAT - they didn't ad to the list! Your programmers are not doing what they're paid for OR listening to us to change things!

    Maybe Verizon is fattening up AOL for eventual sale - if so,they're going to lose a lot of money with GOLD. The years of conquering spam wars in versions through 9.8 all went down the tubes when we didn't get 9.8 back and word blocking was drooped without warning or explanation. Meanwhile, we get bombarded with ads and more and more uncontrollable spam. It's a shame and disgusting what AOL has turned into the past couple of years. One of my friends even got bad Yelp reviews for using AOL for his business e-mails!

    I've agreed since the tried and true feature was somehow scrapped a couple years ago. Promises! Promises! Where's the RESULTS? Bring word blocking back! I've been with AOL for 25 years.

    Some time back on aol you could block emails that contained certain words. You could even only allow email addresses that were in your contact list - everything else went to spam. We are tired of getting dozens of email daily, many change their address randomly.

    All the ad loading slows my computer way down..very close to getting rid of aol

    I have checked with friends who use other providers and they are not swamped with the volume of spam that AOL Gold is I've been with AOL since they took over Compuserve loooong ago but I'm going to have to give it up..

    I agree. I'd like to block any email that contains trump except for one that combines trump with resigns, dies, or disappears.

    Would you make it possible to block all incoming mail that starts with "admin@" or "news@" or "info@" Just give us the option of blocking them with "news@*" or "admin@*"
