AOL gold freezes every day
Everyday AOL GOLD freezes up and I have to use Google. Why am I paying you to use your desktop if it does not work!! YOU SHOULD BE PAYING ME TO USE AOL GOLD!!! Don't force people to use this ****! FIX IT ALREADY!! I AM PAYING YOU 3.99 a MONTH SO IS EVERYONE ELSE!!!

I am beyond frustrated. I have to use my phone to retrieve emails. My AOL Gold freezes constantly. I waited on the phone for about an hour to speak with someone in India only to be told I needed to buy software for only 4.95 a month that would resolve my issue by cleaning up my computer. I HAVE NO OTHER ISSUES with any other applications. I can't believe how bad it has gotten HELP!!!

I too am having issues with my mail, after lengthy periods on hold, finally I reach a rep and they transfer me to another rep, and after speaking with someone from the Philippians or God knows where, I am hung up on.
Again on hold.
I am very frustrated with AOL after all theses years.
I can get **** for support for free.

My Gold desktop app freezes nearly every day - over the last month I have been unable to access old or sent emails through it. I can certainly switch to Outlook but since I am still paying for this I prefer to use the desktop app. I find it hilarious that the ads never seem to freeze - just my mailbox. Please come up with a new version - Gold has been horrible since day one. I have had my accounts since 1995 but I am inching closer and closer to moving everything to do G-mail at this point.

The Gold software takes literally minutes to display saved mail from any folder, but when I go to AOL.Mail on the web, all save mail can be instantly retrieved with attachments etc.
The AOL Gold software for Mail has NEVER been this bad, and be advised that I became an AOL user when AOL first started in the 1970's!
I am considering dropping AOL Gold software and just using the free web based mail system.
AOL, Hear me, its time to solve this problem IMMEDIATELY of you will certainly lose more and more subscribers! I expect a full scope response from AOL tech department and not some mickey mouse "feel good" we are working on it.

Is this any closer to being resolved? I have two people in my office that use AOL, both have large amounts of mail, and AOL Desktop Gold is literally dying whenever they switch folders or try to open mail. They can't get work done because it just keeps freezing. I don't understand how the mail client can't work for a service one of whose primary functions is email. I mean, just put the webmail interface inside the Desktop Gold software mail screens, since that seems to work fine, and be done with it.

Attention-> THE NETBRAINBOX LLC, 7134 Lincoln Rd, Jackson, MI 49201Monday, I thought I was asking AOL for help.
You had "scammed" the AOL links pretended to be AOL while setting me up for your SCAM..
You remotely entered/took control of my desktop and disabled AOL Gold all together.
Then you "strong armed " me by saying.... either pay you $300. dollars or I cannot use
AOL Gold again.
AOL GOLD is not functioning at all on my PC at this time thanks to you.
I've paid AOL a monthly fee over 35 years and service to repair AOL programs has always
been at no cost as long as I paid their monthly subscription.
Your actions and this invoice represents WIRE FRAUD in my opinion and I think AOL
will be very interested in you activities at their expense.

I'm unable to get my email and my favorites. I've spent HOURS on the phone with the techs. No solution yet. Only promises promises! SHEESH Weeks and weeks are going by without the problem being solved

Within the last few weeks, I have noticed AOL running very, very slow. Takes forever to load old mail....and even new mail. I have Spectrum 5G and seems the problem is on AOL's side. What's up?

Well I guess its good to know i'm not the only one with this problem, I even upgraded my pc by adding double the memory, thinking that might have been the reason AOL would freeze up when accessing email. Memory added, but still having the same problem, its very time consuming and frustrating., especially being a paying member.

I have this on going problem constantly - it is very disturbing why it is taking AOL so long to figure it out - I am updated on all on my computer Windows wise every other browser works but AOL constantly the site freezes and does nolt respond. This has been going on for too long and when one is paying for aol is unacceptable.
