Need to tell customer full ramifications
I am furious!!!!!! On July 2 I worked with your tech Algen Albino as my aol screen had frozen. He suggested I install System Mechanic for $4.95 a month which i did and which took a great deal of time. On July 3 I opened my computer and could not get on AOL Gold and my recycle bin had been completely deleted. Today I talked to a tech support Alex and he deleted System Mechanic from my computer, but said I could sign up for something at a cost to try and restore some of my recycle bin. I refuse…

We should be able to copy the whole address book with names and emails. I am told that it is not possible.

EXISTING + LONG TIME ONGOING
been over 8 months now - this post will probably closed , merge into another that is not related or hidden in some other non pertinent topic -
1 - Gold still undependable + not working - can not sign in with out multiple attempts ( internet filled with this complaint - welcome screen does not load -
2 - intrusive , invasive privacy agreement -
3 - AOL , OATH , VERIZON are extremely untrustworthy - customer unfriendly + do not listen to or care about long time paid consumers -
4 - chrome browser is inefficient + outdated… -
Re: "Welcome" News, etc.
When reading a " news story" it used to be to leave that "page" one clicks the X red button, top right of News Screen, to get to the next "news page" BUT NOW INSTEAD, when the RED X BUTTON is pushed/clicked, the entire Welcome Window closes and to read anymore and different news items, the Blue Welcome Bar at TOP LEFT of screen under the Read Mail Box MUST BE PUSHED EACH TIME! REALLY WHO EVER IS IN CHARGE OF DESKTOP GOLD, YOU ALL DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND INSTEAD OF MAKING THINGS BETTER, DESKTOP GOLD…

I have been a paying user for above 20 years, and Gold is the worse yet! It is too cumbersome to sign into, it is slow, regardless of the speed of my CPU or Internet. I like using AOL because I use it for business purposes, and most people I deal with are surprised that I still use AOL when there are sites that offer free email. Please AOL address the issues that are being posted by other users because I agree with everyone of the ones that I read. If these issues are not cleared up, I will soon…

Adding feedback brings you back to the beginning instead of the last page you were on. Time consuming!
If you view feedback and vote or add a comment it scrolls back to the beginning of feedback. TIME CONSUMING AND ANNOYING.

Efficiency in using AOL Gold
Go back to the old blue aol re subject line - I fill in the recipient's name, make an error in the spelling but I cannot backspace to correct the spelling......
no consistency when I use cut/paste icons or if I use control C and then control V. Neither works all the time. I use to just use under "edit" cut / paste and it worked all the time when I transferred text from Internet to Word. Not so any more. Prefer using the "Edit" option.
Spell check. I just want to see how to spell one word not everything…

OMG! This is the last straw!
OMG! On the old emails I saved because I needed the pictures in them, none of them have pictures anymore. Just broken images. I saved these because they were important. Where are my pictures?? Can you get them back? Please reply. I need those pictures back. AOL has completely ruined my online experience!

Same old problems.
Still the same old problems. When saving emails to the Draft folder, often it takes a long time for one to be saved. Then I find that an email has been saved 3 or 4 times. Often it takes a long time for an email to be sent. Then I find it has been sent more than once. I still have to reformat when copying something from Word to the body of an email. This was never a problem before Gold. You keep on telling me to call Tech Support. I have called Tech Support NUMEROUS TIMES on these issues.…

Problems have NOT been fixed!
Please do not mark this as Duplicate! Same old problems. There is often times a delay in sending out an email. And then I find the email has gone out TWICE! We run a small business. This is not a good business practice. We have been using Gold since September, and the problem persists. I have talked to your tech people, and they have been no help. When will we have a reliable system again?
