I’m unable to setup Signatures in Mail. When I put my name in it does not save my information.
Please fix.
To easily set up your email signature follow the steps provided in this help article https://help.aol.com/articles/the-new-aol-desktop-using-mail-aim-browsing-the-web and expand the section “Using Mail in the new AOL Desktop” and click on “How do I manage my email signature in the new AOL Desktop?”

No way to delete cookies
Need to be able to delete cookies as in 9.8
To clear footprints please follow this steps:

Links on aol welcome page don't work.
Hi; I'm on the welcome screen, page 2 of 7a, with an article re: 'sudden death of billionaires.' I have clicked on the photo; and the large print "New details surface......" and the smaller print that says "We have sufficient evidence to....." Though I have tried clicking on all three, all that happens is that a blank aol page shows up and never loads the story.
We are unable to replicate this issue.
Please make sure you have the latest AOL Desktop Gold version by clicking the “Help” button on the top, right corner of the window, and selecting “About AOL” from the drop-down menu. In the middle of the “About AOL” window, you’ll see the version you have installed.
If the version is lower than 11.0.1579, keep the AOL Desktop signed in for at least 20 minutes then close and reopen the software. The update should automatically upload. If you already have the latest version, please clear the footprints.
Here’s how to manually clear the Browser Footprints: 1. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu. 2. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.

To adjust the window sizes in AOL Desktop Gold, please follow these steps:
1. Drag one of the four corners of the window to your desired size and position.
2. On the top of the AOL Desktop screen, click “Window” then choose “Save Window Size and Position” from the drop-down menu. Please note that the option to save the window size and position will not work if the window size is set to full screen.Please try the troubleshooting solutions below to resolve the slowness and performance issues:

Go back to our loved AOL, this is a total mess
this constant getting booted of line, then not able to log back in, and have to use IE to get my mail on AOL just is not worth it. I am not paying IE

This software is running so slow. It is not working properly. I am paying for this service and ads are still popping up and running next to the mail. The mail has so many different type fonts. Mail does not stay maximized. Once you open an email, it minimizes which is really annoying. Mail folders are not in the proper order.
Keeping the screen maximized is currently not available, but I’ll make sure your feedback goes to the product team.

In order to find your Address Book Groups, you will need to click on Mail on the top left and select Address Book from the drop-down menu and check the left side of the window under the Groups category.

I need to learn how to delete misspelled email addresses from the list of various choices when sending emails.
Also, how do I get the Categories list to be alphabetized? It used to be and now it is haphazard. The list is jumbled now. I prefer the old way.
The option to change the order of the address book categories is not available at the moment. We will pass it along to the AOL Desktop Gold team and they will look into this to see if they can have it fixed in a future update or release of the software.
You can edit or delete any contact that is misspelled, Click on Mail option >Address Book, click on the contact and select Edit or delete from the bottom of the window.

Is it really possible that you CANNOT WORK OFFLINE in Gold?
Is it really possible that Gold was released allowing that you MUST have an internet connection to view old Old/Sent/Draft e-mails that are supposedly "Saved On Your PC"?
Also, related, there was always the safety net before of being able to save the Organize Folder/Data (The entire PFC for each screen name). I am told by tech support this is not possible.

AOL Gold keeps removing itself from my computer.
AOL Gold keeps disappearing from my computer. Each time it takes 2 hours for tech support to get it re-installed. Even then I lose all my personal tool bar items. What a pain! Please find out why this is happening.

Address Book Issue
I am having difficulty sending an email to an entire group in my address book. Previously, all I had to do was to right click the group's title, and select send/CC/BCC, etc. This no longer works.
1. Open the Address Book.
2. Select the Group from the left-hand side.
3. Click on Group Option below the list of Groups and Categories.
4. Choose Send Mail, Copy To or Blind Copy.
As an alternative you can open a Write mail window and type the group name directly in the To, Cc or Bcc field.

OK, my original idea was placed in a group of similar complaints. AOL responded with a "solution," which did not resolve the issue at all. Consequently, comments on AOL's non-responsive reply have been closed.

Save& Save As options are now available, and in order to use them first open an email, then click on the File menu on the top left and select either Save or Save As to make a local copy of the email.

Download problems
I am unable to download anything from the window to my document file that pops up. The download will not open or find the file. The only way to open it is to download to the desktop. I have spent hours on the phone with AOL to no resolve. They now tell me it is a flaw in the software communicating with Adobe. I then ask to go back to the old AOL and was told it was not possible. I asked when it would be fixed----no idea. AOL look at case number 05782061 and 04451083.
Make sure you have the latest revision. To check if the latest revision update was installed, click on About AOL from the help menu. This should be 11.0.1805. If not, click on Check for Updates from the Help menu, wait 10 minutes then close and re-open the AOL Desktop Gold.
After that open the attachments from File – Download Manager.

make the latest AOL Gold remember passwords when it starts
When AOL start it used to remember my login and start automaticly. the latest version does not. This needs fixed.

All I get from AOL Agent is this: I do apologize but our system is currently undergoing a maintenance relating to your issue. In fact, we are receiving a heavy amount of similar cases like yours. Make the blue bar optional instead of mandatory.
Whenever I Reply to an email, the blue vertical bar appears at left. It's so annoying, requiring me to copy the text and paste it above the blue bar, then delete the blue bar.
The blue bar should be an option one can select, not a mandatory thing.-- as it was before Desktop Gold. This is one of the poor changes that I wish you would convert back to the old system. Thanks.The option to disable this feature is available. To turn it off, please follow these steps:
1. Open AOL Desktop Gold and sign on.
2. Click on Edit on the top left.
3. Select Mail Settings from the drop-down menu.

Can no longer increase or decrease the size of my screen as I was able to do with AOL 9.8
Please bring back the ability to stretch out or reduce the size of the screen. There are many times where 2 or 3 screens need to be seen & moved around while doing work & this is no longer able to be done. This is a necessary feature to always have!
To enlarge the screen please follow these steps:
1. Drag one of the four corners of the browser, email, mailbox windows to your desired size and position.
2. In the top right corner of the AOL Desktop, click “Window” then choose “Save Window Size and Position” from the drop-down menu.
