ADG manage
The desktop gold had been malfunctioning several times. It only freezes and sometimes would not allow us to launch or click on the icon.

bad (or glitch in) update in past 2 days?
About 1,000 of my "NEW" emails disappeared over the past day or two. It seems as if they, somehow, were moved to my "OLD MAIL" folder, but not by me. btw, it does look like there is a time cutoff going back about 2 years or thereabouts on these moves. I'm mentioning it in case someone else has this issue or in the event you want to share it with whoever does your software updates. I have a hunch someone messed up some code somewhere along the line with a recent update. There is no other explanation I can think…

address book deletions
Due to the fact that if I delete someone from the address book, it immediately returns to the beginning of the list, it is virtually impossible to go through my address book and delete old ones. Please do NOT return to beginning of address book after a deletion.

I'm tired of talking to AOL. Does anyone out there run a small business?
And have you solved the problem of sending out bulk (not spam) emails? AOL tells me no more than 99 email addresses in each email, and to wait 30 minutes between sending them out. This is not working, and right now I can't send any out at all, not even singles. Does anyone have a solution? (And why do I think AOL will close comments on this?)

Favorite Places keep ending up in other folders!
My carefully arranged favorite places keep jumping into other folders. Sometimes 10 or more a day! I then have to search for where they ended up and drag them back to the correct folder.
After 20 years I am finally thinking of using other services.

Spam that doesn't appear on my screen so that I can delete it!
My screen tells me that I have 1 email in my Spam folder. When I go to the Spam folder, nothing is there. If I press "delete", the folder is not cleared out; if I have a 2nd piece of Spam, I press "delete all" but the phantom Spam message does not go away. The old AOL software was good; why did we have to change to something that is not configured as well as what we had? I've never had this problem before...and I want it to go away!

Aol Gold diapered on all of our computers
We have AOL gold or should I say we had AOL gold it is no longer on our computers 4 of them. AOL has no trouble with taking out my payment for something I have to go onto Google just to get into my account and I can not get in to cancel my account. If I am going to have to use Google to check my mail I may as well have a free account.

this sequence does not work:
Use the Browser Password Manager as a secure and easy way to manage your online passwords and credentials.Enable or disable the Password Manager
1. Log in to AOL Desktop Gold.
2. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon. .
3. Click the Browser option on the left-side of the window.
4. Click the Passwords tab.
5. Select 'Offer to save passwords I enter on the web'.
6. Exit out of the Settings window.
